I don't know, why I got obsessed with the poems of Khalil Gibran, they have such power in them to coincide with my emotions....and the voice of the reader too, it's just great...makes the vibe of the poem real.

Although Gibran was raised Christian during a time of oppression against Christians, he was a supporter of all religions. All his poems speak to people of all religions

How Christians were oppressed? If you mean Hizbollah , then, we Muslims either and still being threatened by its existence and sadly there are Christians who support them although they sided with Assad during the Syrian invasion of Lebanon and many Christians and Muslims were massacred from them. All innocent souls of all faiths mustn't be oppressed for sure.

Salam ! My brother .. I just gave info that Gibran was raised as a Christian but his mind was so open , he supported all religions. There is no Christian God , no Muslim God, no Hindu God .. my bro .. Why do we all have the same anatomy and the same physical structure.. 2 eyes, 2 hands ? Did our Gods sit together and decided .. let us make our own humans but give them the same features , same blood, bones, feet and hands. But I believe that there is One and only One creator ..of mankind .. Thanks bro .

Super valid thoughts! My philosophy teacher in college first told us the truth of life, that we give birth to children, but they are free individuals with their own unique souls and do not belong to us. This poet confirmed her words of wisdom exactly. Yes, most parents want to fulfill their unrealized dreams through their children, not thinking that they may have other plans and goals, other dreams not similar to their parents'. I dream a lot about children! I was predicted to have 4 children. I hope the predictions were not a mistake.

Shoots forth arrows where they are meant to go.

And sometimes causes damage that is stark.

For some reason I connect more with pieces read by Shane Morris, he has a calm voice that's so calming much like Aslan's filled with wisdom
