For example, dentists will say you have cavities because you don't floss, and charge you for it, when examined by other dentists you don't have cavitites. There is also 0 data to support that flossing does ANYTHING AT ALL.
I am a dentist and have never heard or learned about this procedure!? No sane person will sacrifice the most fragile and the least regenerated bone structure for no good reason !

There is another option- not just bone drilling. There is a High powered laser that is used to basically reduce the amount of gums on the teeths face, it Coderizes the gums basically immediately and sometimes numbing isnt even required. As long as you keep up your dental hygiene, your gums should stay in place. Some offices use it to remove cavity also. It's called Solea

This periodontal procedure doesn't actually seem necessary, nor does it seem like it's "taking care of your teeth" (more like premature deliberate gum recession, and bone loss) not all dental procedures are necessarily good for your dental well-being...
