    Short answer: Italian bureaucracy makes it almost impossible for clubs to build and own their own stadium, and must therefore use the municipal government’s stadium and pay rent.
    Also, please do not spread information about San Siro being demolished, that is absolutely not true. Those plans have been a matter of debate with the Milan Municipal Government for literally years. San Siro will stay for the foreseeable future. Read above to see why.

  • @IR._
    @IR._ ปีที่แล้ว

    The real reason:
    Very few Italian clubs actually own their own stadiums. In fact, across the top 3 divisions of Serie A, B and C, only 3 clubs directly own their stadiums. Those clubs are Juventus, Sassuolo and Udinese. The rest of the stadiums are mostly owned, maintained and run by the local municipal government of the city that the club is based in. So if there are 2 clubs based in the same city, they often have to share the stadium as it’s cheaper for the city. AC Milan and Inter sharing San Siro isn’t the only example but it’s the most famous one. Other examples include Lazio and Roma sharing Stadio Olympico. Hellas Verona and Chievo sharing Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi. Genoa and Sampdoria sharing Stadio Luigi Ferraris

    What would happen if ac and inter are in a title race in the last matchday,and both have home games? Like other leagues,can they even schedule the games at the same time?

    So how does the dressing room design go? Like in Madrid or United or Chelsea, dressing room of home side is themed red or white or accordingly.
    For Milan and inter, how do they arrange that intimacy of home dressing room?

      I believe there are 3 dressing rooms. One for each team and a neutral for visiting teams

    Just curious, does that create any problems for the grounds keepers? I was under the impression that the fields need at least 5 days to recover. And considering the two teams are playing league games (home only half the time) as well as other tournaments (UCL, cup, etc) does it at times not have enough time to recover?

      The field is pretty much worn and torn. Usually there are brown patches, especially around the goal area.

      That's the case of my team in Argentina, Racing Club de Avellaneda. Our stadium is literally at 200 meters from our classic rival Independiente. The only thing that separates us is the parking lots.
