I always thought that this song was at its best when the back up harmony was loud. It really gives the song another dimension and let’s Wade do his thing a lot better.
Great performance but the background vocalist is extremely flat! Also in the middle of the song where he starts singing “there was nothing else!” It almost sounds like they are playing to a backing track right there! Hmm. But that’s def his real voice and the rest of the song is authentic for sure.
