P.S. I realized this was the first "Monster" volume to feature Motley Crue. I'm not sure if Razor & Tie got the rights to "Dr. Feelgood" to include it on this, but it seems like their music wasn't featured on very many compilations, presumably due to licensing issues, even though they were on of the biggest "hair bands" of the 80's. "Primal Scream" was included on "Rock This Way", which I had growing up, but that wasn't a Razor & Tie compilation.
What does skydiving have to do with metal? And who the hell would go skydiving while holding a CD in their hand that their most likely to drop by accident due to heavy air?
Why are Foreigner's "Say You Will" and Loverboy's "Turn Me Loose" on this 2 CD version? I like both songs, but they seem out of place on here. I'm glad they included the latter on "Rock This", a compilation dedicated to 70's/80's classic rock (what "Turn Me Loose" is really categorized as). I also think "I Remember You" would've been a better choice for "Monster Ballads", since It's about a lost love
Both of the Dio songs (Rainbow in the Dark, and Sabbath's Heaven and Hell) are great songs as well, but dont really fit with the rest of this compilation.
I feel the same way about FAITH NO MORE being on here. I love them and 'Epic', but I don't consider them of this same genre. Their more like alt rock/heavy metal as these other bands are like hair/glam metal.
I've never seen the full length version of this commercial and it totally kicks ass!

This was the late 90s Early 2000s when compilations had songs that don't fit. Experimentation
