  • Watch our first #ChartwellChats, a series of discussions in which we explore Winston Churchill's relationship with his beloved country home Chartwell.
In the first of our series, Katherine Carter, Property Curator at Chartwell and David Lough, author of the critically acclaimed 'No More Champagne: Churchill and His Money', explore Winston Churchill's purchase of Chartwell and mark the 100-year anniversary of that historic event.
Developed in partnership with @ChartwellNT and launched to mark 100 years since the Churchills bought #Chartwell. #thinkchurchill #Churchill2024

This American- nee Drake- loved the Chartwell program. We have a bust of Sir Winston on our bookcase because I've loved him since childhood. That came from my WWll veteran father. I have yet to visit Chartwell but am planning it for my next visit.

Churchill could see possibilities where others saw only problems.

Awesome Video, very well done - I have been to Chartwell back in 2012, and I liked his study best. Very impressive

As far as I am concerned, Winston Spencer Churchill was the Greatest Leader this Planet has ever had, in recent times.
Sincerely, if you are an admirer of ' The Last Lion ', visiting Chartwell as well as Blenheim Palace, is essential. 🇬🇧
I was incredibly fortunate, to visit both, in October of 2019. 🇬🇧 Roland Singh, Canada 🇨🇦
