Struggling with this warping, exaclty with what you are using it for . Today I learned there's a difference between working with samples in session view and working with samples in arrangement view. The editing does not have the same options in both.

You undo the warping in the start of the video, but those markers are there because in the preferences automatic warping long samples is on, you can set that to off.

Correct, and auto-warping is the default setting in Ableton. I chose to make this tutorial from the perspective of someone using Ableton for the first time, considering what they would see.

I always struggle with warping, I try to chop the sample into 32-64 beats so I can play it bit by bit. But it still comes out off. I’m seeing I need to get better at warping

Have you seen my video about Ableton’s improved auto warping? They have made it so much easier in their 11.3 update

My brother tap the tempo of the sample in then record the sample it lock to grid when slice to midi track
