I studied Spanish in high school and all through college. I can read, write and understand what someone is saying, but I’m too shy to practice speaking because I’m afraid of how I’ll sound. I think that’s how it is with J-Hope, Suga and V. J-Hope and V are getting better at speaking because they’re willing to make mistakes. Suga seems more like me.

I used to have a goal of getting as good at Korean as JHope is at English, but for the past year or so I’ve been thinking I’ll never catch up. He’s too good and works too hard. I’m still trying to come up to where he was in Malta.

As an asian who has been studying English for 7 years I am objectively way better than him but as I don't have enough confidence in speaking and I'm always worried about making mistakes, I can't show my full potential but with the confidence that this guy has even though he isn't really good in English he is still able to communicate well and improve fast not only that his accent and pronunciation are the best in the group after RM. I wish I had a percentage of his confidence...
