I cracked so I overpaid for a full set of series 8 on eBay so I have the whole wave with variants. Walmart has been a nightmare with online preorders. I’m even seeing series 9 on eBay already and just heard series 10 is going to be Kurt angle w the undisputed title, old school boss man, and tatanka! Can’t wait it’s been fun buying these. Single handedly got me into collecting
@p344y Walmart is a nightmare with the pre orders and also a nightmare by putting out the series in stores on time. They will have the older series on the shelves and you can't find any of the newest series. Wave 8 I am debating what I should do (ebay or wait).
I like the idea of having a figure of this early era of Hogan, but feel it belongs in an Elite line where they do more obscure variations and one-offs. To me, SuperStars feels like a line that should only include the most iconic, colorful 80s-90s versions of characters.
These look great!! I’d choose the blue but knowing me I’d buy both anyway. Been a fan of the line and it’s been fun. All in on Superstars and selected Ultimates being my thing. Thanks for the vid KP

I am a big fan of the Superstar Series. My dad also likes them, but he already has a bunch of other series, and he can't get into another one. I hope they keep making them. It would be nice if they gave them a wrestling ring, but eh. Felt like the throwback ring works well for them. I also like them a lot because of their cards, so I can tack them into my wall. Out of sight out of mind sorta thing since the main stuff I collect is computers, and I am not trying to get to outta computers since I don't have the space. Can you still find them all in the store? Also, not sure how I feel about the blue pants they're still done well, but the chase or red pants take the win.
Hulk looks good, but it's a pass for me at the moment. I like this retro line, but there is only so much money to go around on figures. Also, with these being $20 and a Walmart Exclusive, I just can't go down the rabbit hole. I never say never though. For what it's worth, I kind of like the blue version better.
I can get the chase hulk for unfortunately 57$ on ebay includes shipping and tax. I am debating on it because I am afraid that the chase won't come out in my stores over here. Should I or no?

not at all I purchased this just like everyone else. These have also been showing up at Walmart. You should know what you’re talking about before you post something like that as it sounds like an easy excuse to me to blame yourself for not being on top of things
