Wow, I would’ve never thought of an ide specifically for automation but it makes a ton of sense, good job to the folks at Jetbrains
how do you test big data with this?
Jetbrains is the only company that makes me more money than what I spend using their tools.

Another day, another JetBrains IDE
This is a really great product and I wouldn’t expect less from Jetbrains. However, I would love to see integration with cypress and playwright in future releases. Suffice to say, count me in on this one 🚀

It's looking a lot like it's built on top of fleet. I hope we get all the rich features from the intellij based engine such as the plugin ecosystem and tool panels

I don't understand is aqua a full ide or like a replacement for - in my case- intellij or a tool to be used with intellij and if that is the case how exactly can I make it work hand to hand with it?
Aqua is a powerful IDE. In case you have a commercial JetBrains IDE you may find more convenient to install the Aqua Plugin instead.
Why python language is missing in AQUA QA tool 🤔
I am confused by what exactly the free "preview build" is, and how it differs from the paid version. Is it a temporary free trial version? Or is it a free version with less capabilities, the way IntelliJ Community edition is a free-but-less-capabilities version of IntelliJ Ultimate?
Add integration with reporting systems and CICD, and I'll be happy.

Yes, so far we only have support for web application testing, follow blog.jetbrains.com/qa/ to be notified about future updates for desktop and/or mobile testing

I love the new UI Language. The only thing which is annoying sometimes is that you need to click a button to see the menus in the topbar. There should be a option to toggle that.
The UI is just a little too much like VSCode for my liking, it feels like it'll actually be a huge downgrade from their current UI in terms of usability. However the Aqua IDE itself as a concept is fantastic and I think will fill a niche in the market so overall this is a win.
@@Kalascos it isn't to be honest. I find VSCodes general layout ugly and general way of creating projects unintuitive which the new Design doesn't have
@@adamwarvergeben This is definitely better than the UI they're using for Fleet EAP in terms of usability which is almost exactly VSCode. This is similar and I'm personally not a fan of UIs which hide important elements behind icons. I like words since with icons I always have to spend time hovering over them to figure out what panel they're going to display etc. This does look clean, but clean isn't always usable, hopefully in this case it will be, I plan to try it soon. As a concept this is fantastic.

@@KalascosI love that I don’t have to read words for tool windows I know inside and out and that IntelliJ finally follows a less busy, more focused and minimalistic UI approach. So I guess we will never live in a world where the same design will satisfy all people 😀
