Nice video. I’d love to hear if you have any advice on optimizing that style of flipper levers. We’ve recently added a super score to our collection. The flippers definitely need a rebuild but those levers and switches are a very different feel than the newer games. Thanks.

Hi Dave we highly recommend a flipper rebuild especially the fibre linkages get so much wear in the pivot points. The wire arms are reliable some people remove then and hardwire the flippers but it's unnecessary. If you buy a flipper rebuild kit from PBR that will help .

Keep the videos coming! I’m having trouble with a 1954 daisy may, when I hit the start button it spins the score motor and every time it pulses it kicks the relays that reset the switch banks and turns the game off instantly. And it won’t release the balls or give power to any switches on the play field except the pop up holes work. When I test everything and give power to all the switches and pop up bumpers everything works and counts the score like it should

It might be just one switch on the score motor which is staying connected when it shouldn’t. …. or one switch on the start relay….??

@Mark Jackson in this case it was a shorted coin switch on the strengthener blade .

Where do you buy your leaf switches? All I see online are out of stock all the time.

We have our own stocks. However, the GOTO supplier is The Pinball Resource in Poughkeepsie New York.

Hey my friend and I are currently trying to figure out why the motor on the pinball machine is constantly running from the moment we plug it in? Any tips or insight on this issue?

Hi that's a very common question we've actually done a video previously on this subject. We prefer to answer technical questions on our Facebook group page The Goat Shed EM Pinball Repair Specialists, that way it helps others with similar problems. Also you need to tell us what game it is.
