I don't get it. All of Mayweather's boring ass fights have been "marketing jobs". All of prize fighting is a marketing job. Step 1, pad your record. Step 2, partner with a well known promoter. Step 3, sell fights as the "fight of the century". Step 4, get paid. The Tyson/Paul fight is less an example of a well executed marketing strategy and more of an example of how when you pit a very hated fighter (Paul) against a very beloved fighter (Tyson) you make sales.
