First analyst ive heard point out how important Brian Robinson is to Washington. Hes just as important to that offense as Jayden. The ravens really got to capitalize on his absence. Containing him is key.
Jayden will definitely be playing! lol. I was at the game last week and the stadium is upgraded and the fan base is bananas! We have all been looking forward to this game all summer so it should be fun!!! Our defense is starting to pivot and they were a few plays off from beating the Ravens and have been dominating last 4 games. Went from 31 to 16 and climbing! Should be a great day
I'm a Washington fan, but I do try to be aware of my bias when commenting on things, but with that said, it's both short-sided and stupid to say Jayden's status comes down to his willingness to play through pain. First, the guy making those comments has zero confirmed knowledge of Jayden's actual injury, which has been officially stated as "rib injury" which is intentionally vague. Second, in a competent organization, a player is never the sole determinative factor as to their status. The hard-learned lesson from a dozen years ago is that even the star player doesn't get to decide if they're okay to play, and a good coach will sacrifice a game, for the welfare of a player. I'm not trying to sling mud, but when people who have platforms say silly shit like this, it just exposes them as...poorly informed....to say it as politely as possible. Last thing to add --- Northwest Stadium f/k/a FedEx Field was built by the Cooke family and originally named Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. It was Snyder who refused to do any necessary maintenance (with the sole exception being the removal of stadium seats to boost attendance percentages) and let it decay into the worst stadium in the league. Not a big deal, but people in the area respect our team owners, but only when they're not idiotic scumbags like Dan Snyder, so please don't attribute the accomplishment of actually building something to Dan Snyder, but it's completely fair and necessary to blame him for the deterioration of the stadium and the franchise (which is currently the only NFL team not to reach 11 wins in any of the previous 30+ seasons).
This maybe some gamesmanship from the Wash squad. Think all week he's not playing bc he's "doubtful" but then Sunday morning he comes out and plays and they'll hope they 1) psyche us out mentally and 2) we've prepared for the backup so our gameplan will be on the fly too. I think both squads know that we could be looking at each other for a while card spot later in the year and this is an important game to win in sense of tiebreakers and that it's a home game for Washington.
@@shifty1927 the commanders have more advantage Especially with the schedule The bears are under pressure and after Arizona in two weeks they play all division rivals with 49ers in the mix Not to mention this is make or break for there HC For Washington it’s year 1 and it not a make or break season
The problem with this theory is, the game plan for the Bears D would basically be the same for either QB. If they have a plan that would actually beat JD, it will work against MM too. And if they don't, they are screwed either way. It's not like they are having to game plan for either Vick or Manning.

They wrecked Arizona without BRob. I guarantee Kliff wouldn't let the Ravens stop the run like that again

Well said.
Thank you for your input. Looking forward to this game and hopefully both franchises succeed for the long term.
We put up 40 with the back up our offense will not change.

Youre overthinking it. This game isnt that important to either team.

Commanders are going to smoke the Bears with Mariota
