I thought nothing could make me feel emotion anymore. I spent so long crying and being depressed that I eventually just turned it all off. I was going through life feeling nothing. Then I heard this song and or the first time in a long time I started crying again. Nothing in my life has improved but this song, for the first time gave me hope that it would get better. Now i listen to it every night and it always makes me cry. I'm sad to see that other people are suffering but I'm glad I'm not alone.

If there's one thing this song taught me, not everyone has suffered as I have (I'm a pretty chill dude though) but that doesn't mean they're as strong as I am. Just because my situation was so much worse is no reason to watch someone else suffer. Hey this song is about God telling you that he knows what you are going through and is right There with you you are not invisible to him. He knows everything you have done but doesn't care he loves you the way you are and wants you to accept his hand of friendship and love. We can't do it on our own but that's the point you don't have to God is there to help go through it with you. You can have that too! all you have to do is accept him. And he is faithful a just to forgive us and to become our heavenly father.

I had a friend that showed me this song, he told me to listen to it everytime i was upset and think of him saying it all to me, I have never been able to relate to a song as perfectly as this. I ended up pushing him away a year ago, and i still message him on facebook every so often, telling him i miss him, that i'm sorry, and that i still listen to this song every day. Sadly, some people can't have those good lives that most people have. Remember, you are never invisible and you are always loved by someone. I have a past that can relate to this song it its gives me the nostalgic feeling of my not so great past.. It doesn't hurt anymore though .... I mean it soothes me... but every time I would listen to this song I would cry my eyes out.I used to be antisocial and nobody paid any attention some days the teacher marked me absent because of how quit I was... and really this song is really the story of my past... It is a reminder that I over came the issues I had and I survived and got through :)
My teacher also marked me absent all the time. Not even the students noticed I was there. I overheard people say stuff like, "That emo kid hasn't been here for awhile" or the occasional, "probably at home cutting himself." I suppose I should be happy that they even knew "That emo kid" existed.
I honestly can't stand people who describe people like us in that form, or fashion. Most teachers need to start paying better attention. That statement mad about you cutting yourself , those people are absolutely repulsive. They frown upon some people like we are an entirely different species . I've heard some of the same stuff concerning myself and well I really hate it, people now just don't know how much words hurt. And words can scar a person for life so they really just need to watch what they say ._. It's quite upsetting.

No one should be invisible. No one should ever be beaten down or bullied. I have been suicidal since I was 6 years old. I even wanted to pour gasoline all over my body and if my bullies came around I wanted to strike a match and show them how much pain and agony that they caused me. I still have the scars in my heart and soul. People say that it is just a phase but what about if the phase becomes a reality and the kid or teenager dies from their own hand. Now is it still just a phase or is there really a problem? 5 out 10 teenagers or kids will experience cutting but 1 out of those kids will commit suicide. The bullies are gonna push over the edge and the next thing that they know the kid that they bullied killed themselves. I was going to do it and I still struggle with it even at 21 years of age. I feel for you guys who are in the same boat as me.😢😔❤

I mean it soothes me... but every time I would listen to this song I would cry my eyes out.I used to be antisocial and nobody paid any attention some days the teacher marked me absent because of how quit I was... and really this song is really the story of my past... It is a reminder that I over came the issues I had and I survived and got through :)
My teacher also marked me absent all the time. Not even the students noticed I was there. I overheard people say stuff like, "That emo kid hasn't been here for awhile" or the occasional, "probably at home cutting himself." I suppose I should be happy that they even knew "That emo kid" existed.
I honestly can't stand people who describe people like us in that form, or fashion. Most teachers need to start paying better attention. That statement mad about you cutting yourself , those people are absolutely repulsive. They frown upon some people like we are an entirely different species . I've heard some of the same stuff concerning myself and well I really hate it, people now just don't know how much words hurt. And words can scar a person for life so they really just need to watch what they say ._. It's quite upsetting.
Love how this can be spun off into a love song, and the religious bit can be ignored. 'Tis a song for everyone.

No one should be invisible. No one should ever be beaten down or bullied. I have been suicidal since I was 6 years old. I even wanted to pour gasoline all over my body and if my bullies came around I wanted to strike a match and show them how much pain and agony that they caused me. I still have the scars in my heart and soul. People say that it is just a phase but what about if the phase becomes a reality and the kid or teenager dies from their own hand. Now is it still just a phase or is there really a problem? 5 out 10 teenagers or kids will experience cutting but 1 out of those kids will commit suicide. The bullies are gonna push over the edge and the next thing that they know the kid that they bullied killed themselves. I was going to do it and I still struggle with it even at 21 years of age. I feel for you guys who are in the same boat as me.😢😔❤
