That’s an amazing show overview. I can’t believe no one gave you a hard time about the camera on the stick for those wide shots. Very nice meeting you. See you at the next one 👍
Amazing video friend! I have been to York many times and have enjoyed each show I went to! Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to this one! But it is really cool to see many others who went and post videos about their times at the show! Have a good day!

Thanks, Frank! Unfortunately, the event closed by the time your comment came in. . But I will remember that at my next events and toss it in my videos!
Alfonso, you just made a great suggestion!! I will absolutely use all of my recording from the last 4 days to make a newcomer guide for York! Love thus idea!
Had a problem with a purchase on line , when presented to trainz representative took care of problem and made restitution on pric❤e different will be using there app and not eBay . Great to see honest train dealer . Joined TCA in 1975 and this is the way it used to be.e
@trainz.com is a MUCH better option over eBay!!! These guys actually do care. And they also know that the more they care, the more customers will consider them as an option. Smart business model!
Great video Steve. They told me at the show that you’re only allowed to film in the orange hall, the black hall and the purple hall. Maybe they changed it again?
@@BigBoyTrains- that really good too here Steve! Glad you and your wife had a first great experience there. I’ll be going to York again next year. Maybe me and my dad can catch up with you both then.
@@BigBoyTrains-I thought that the Silver Hall was still off limits. I was going to film in there, but it still says that you can't take pictures in there. I filmed the other halls for the O gauge forum that I belong to.
That was an honest filming mistake. In the video, you can clearly see right as I said that, I was looking at the sign that said Standard Gauge. . But walking and filming, trying not to bump into people got the best of me. Nice watch catching the slip though!!
Extraordinary job Steve! 😊
Your filming is at a pleasant speed to view and enjoy. Its good to see products of interest other than thumbing through a catalog. 👍👍👍
Thank you very much!

That’s a great deal on the Great Northern set
He actually took another $300 off when he saw me record the video of it.
Looks like a fun place to visit.
It's a good time if you ever get the chance, Robert!
Great video Steve. They told me at the show that you’re only allowed to film in the orange hall, the black hall and the purple hall. Maybe they changed it again?
That changed this year. Realizing that TH-cam is free advertising, they opened it to all halls. Unless a vendor asks not to be filmed

Anyone who calls Standard gauge “G scale” doesn’t know much about Lionel trains…..

@@BigBoyTrains- I should apologise, it was obviously a slip but hopefully not one that’ll lead newbies into thinking standard gauge is G
Was that shay on JT's mega steam booth a Lionel,MTH or ATLAS
That Shay was MTH
