Hey man can I ask you a few questions? I picked up a 2024 WR250F locally here in the USA. This obviously is not the Australian/etc model that comes with the ECU, Handlebar switch, etc. My bike is restricted. Muffler restriction, Airbox restriction and the throttle stop screw are still installed. I plan on fixing those three items myself. 1. If I 'derestrict' the bike without changing the ECU, will it run lean? 2. If you know, do they not sell the GYTR ECU and handlebar switch for the 2024 WR's? I'm really struggling to find any parts or information Really appreciate any help
If it does run lean after you 'uncork' it you can connect to the ECU with the power tuner app. Haven't messed around with it too much personally, my WR450F is still stock *Australian model and it's got heaps of power as is.
