Nice sounding track. Just sod you know, when you put a capital "M", we think major chord. if you put a lower case "m" we think minor. So what you have written here looks like D Major 7 which it is not. it should be Dm7.
GaragebandandBeyond might be, but when you see a G7 you know instantly that is major, and for DM7 I understand a minor seven chord, when a chord is major you don’t have to put the capital “M”, I think it’s implicit but yeah, may confuse some people
ha...I didn't notice but I did read it as major, but kept playing the minor 3rd b/c it sounded better, but ofc that little accidental w/ the major 3rd also works nicely when moving to the G
Hey Adrián, yeh at the moment only the ads because I'm just focused on creating more content for the channel. Within the next 2-4 weeks I'm going to release an album of these modal tracks which will be available to buy. In the meantime I will gratefully receive any Paypal donations at qpzm1991@hotmail.co.uk, I created a Patreon account before and promoted it on my Drumless Backing Tracks channel but unfortunately I did't get any pledges.
Backing Tracks For Bass Thanks for your response, hopefully you can promote those more so people start collaborating. If I can pay with my local money (I don't have a credit card or bank account) I will be happy to help. See you around!
Hi, i love your approach to the subject- really excellent narrative- but i would ask that you reduce the AI considerably- the basic fact that somebody input ''robin'' anfmd the bird appearing is the American Robin, a yotallg different species and not native to Ireland. In general, the images are just way too cartoonish and really detract from your otherwise excellent videos.
This taught me that it is the notes you don't play have thst groove, thankyou!
Love just sitting back, and thinking, freestylin' and working to this. Exquisite vibe, thank you.
Dude....im injecting much soulful flow on this one, straight diggin it.
I'm amazing myself on bass right now with this jam
There are a couple of color tones that work well for this track also: C# note on Dm7 chord and/or A♭ note on G7 chord.
I didnt find that the semitone Ab ( or G#) fit very well over this G7 chord... maybe as a passing note. Its dissonant.
@@kingslaphappy1533 Exactly! Color tones == passing notes, no argue here. Playing those on strong beats would be much more dissonant for sure
these would be parts of standard bluesy chromatic runs towards the root notes - from C to D, and then from A down to G
Lots of air in this track. Sublime.
Thanks man
Thank you for this. This has opened my eyes to getting a better understanding of the bass.
Gratitude. Respect. 🙏 ✊
GREAT TRACK! THANK YOU!
Great track! Actually heard the slap bass line before I grabbed my bass. Thanks!

This is great. I just purchased this track off Amazon. Thanks for the track!
Added a 9th on the dorian phrasing and a Cmaj7 over the G7 sounds pretty good

Walter Yock Dewitt no. You are wrong
ha...I didn't notice but I did read it as major, but kept playing the minor 3rd b/c it sounded better, but ofc that little accidental w/ the major 3rd also works nicely when moving to the G
If says Dorian D its obvious its II of C major scale

Love it!
pink floyd-breathe chord progression
Yep breathe bass line definitely comes in mind to play
am i allowed to video record myself playing along to this and share it on the public internet
I think if you add the legal notes, maybe it is not a problem, saying that Youjam is the owner and were you can find the original version..
Sure
its just a Dm7 ( D F A C ) !!!!! not DM7 ( D F# A C#) and the sound is perfect , the suggested scales are perfect also ....
Amazing!

So, is this channel just supported by the ads? No Patreon, website donation, or something like that?
