It just looks fake because of the beard, that's not authorized. We have to be clean shaven in the military, unless you have a shaving profile(exemption) for bumps. Even then, it has to be trimmed. Another thing is the neck flap hanging on his collar, you see that in movies but no one lets it hang in the military. Him not wearing his cover (hat) outdoors I can overlook, even though we are supposed to, a lot of people don't wear it outdoors, especially when not on base.

Though I will never sign this bill as it is born from disingenuous politicians, I do empathize with this family and their loss and pray they heal and grow stronger together and their families as well. You cannot disarm a nation to stop criminals from using illegally obtained firearms in their crimes, it is only criminals who use guns this way and they will always find a way to obtain one or make one to use if they so choose. It is foolish to leave families with no self defense in honor of their own loss by an armed criminal. The loss of a child due to a handgun in the home is a tragedy it is true, but it can be avoided if you are a responsible gun owner with a family and you take it serious, that means taking safety classes on how to use, store, and clean your firearms properly. This is all detailed in full in the literature given in these courses, so if you have never gone to a firearms safety class, then you are left to your own uniformed choices and accidents happen that could have been avoided. no disrespect to the families, simply speaking the truth to the power that is lying to you to use you to take away or minimize our 2nd amendment to the point that we can never get it back, and if one goes you know the 1st is going right along with it. When will these people learn that criminals don’t follow the law. If I’m not mistaken, marijuana was ilegal in all states and it still was being bought, alcohol was the same. Many of these weapons aren’t registered to or stolen, so no matter how much restriction you put, you’re only punishing those who follow the law, not those who won’t abide by it.
I have yet to hear anybody claim that restrictions will completely eliminate the problem. The goal is to make it harder for any random person to just buy a gun at the drop of a hat without any sort of screening process to ensure that they are, in fact, a regular, law-abiding citizen. Those who actually follow the law will not be punished, like you say.

He buys his gun in some back alley, or just steals it. When they talk about banning a certain type of gun the law abiding citizens lose theirs but the criminal gets to keep his. There are more than Anouilh laws on the books one more isn’t going to help. Every school shooting takes place in a gun free zone, so they have already broken that law. Then they commit murder, so there’s another law. Plus many other laws they have broken. Criminals don’t care about laws. You also can not just buy one on line it has to be shipped to a dealer who for a small fee will do a background check. As far as automatic weapons they have been illegal for years, if you do want one you have to pass extensive background checks and pay several thousand dollars in license fees. They are highly regulated. As to why anyone would want one, have you ever shot a gun? It’s fun. I have never shot an automatic but I have shot semiautomatic guns. I could never afford to shoot $100 of ammo in a few seconds.
