Thanks so much Agozie, please do I need to have nursing background before I apply for PN? Also do I need to write any exam before I can be accepted to study PN?
No you don’t need to have a nursing background.. you’re good to go as long as you meet the academic requirements for the program and no, you don’t need to write any exam prior.
Ma'am, I checked Seneca polytechnic site and I think they're not accepting international students for practical nursing program.I really like to study there. 😢 Should I ask the school through email for confirmation?
Please this PGWP you get to work after graduation,is it on your course of study?eg: I graduated as an Lpn will I work as an lpn for that 2yrs of that PGWP
I’m not really sure about scholarships cos most scholarships offered school, you need to have completed some courses first with good grades in order to qualify. Yes you can get accommodation before school starts and it’s way easier if you’re already in Canada.
hello Chiagoziem i want to apply apply to holland college for practical nursing but i dont have chemistry and the required score for maths. their adult education is only for residents when i checked on their school site please how do i go about it
Can you still apply to colleges to study PRN with background of Diploma nursing as international but your SHS certificate core subjects English Maths Science Electives Geography Government Economics can you still apply
Yeah, they do. On google, type ‘designated learning institute in Canada’ and a lot of schools will pop up. Scroll carefully and read through them. Not all DLIs give PGWP so read carefully and if you have any questions about any school/requirements, just email the school directly. I hope this helps.
Thank you very much, but I have a question to ask please, getting PR is the goal at the end my studies.what if the school am applying to do not require IELTS exam,do you suggest I go ahead to write the IELTS exam for the sake PR at the end?
You'll still write IELTS cos the IELTS for PR is IELTS general and not Academic, moreover IELTS expires after 2yrs so you'd definitely have to take the test again for PR.

@@matildagidi1593The truth is that, you will always need funds for anything that has to do with leaving the country. Email the school and ask if they have funding options or scholarships that can relief you of some expenses. if not, you have to run around on your own for sponsorship, take a loan or sell a property. As long as you're going there to study, you need money.
@@matildagidi1593as in, you want to work for your tuition? I think there's a limited time to work per week if you're a student. It will be really difficult to earn enough money for tuition. You need to show proof that you have money to cater for yourself for at least one year before you will be given visa. I advice you email the school and ask for as much financial support as they can offer you. Trust me, they are very helpful.
