Shaedon sharpe is CRAZY underrated, 7th overall pick a few years ago and, yes, he might not have lived up to 7th overall but people fully forgot about him.
I like Sharpe, but I kind of have the impression is that he is not getting better. He really needs to step it up more on defense because he has the size and wingspan to defend well.
I think for him he can vastly overperform 7th pick. I think he has the most potential in the Blazers, but also they are not a great organization and their team is trying to lose right now, so his view will be decreased for that. He needs the vets off the team so they can build the offense around him. Right now its Grant/Anf that get all the offensive power

Santi is better than huff yet I’ve never heard the media talk about santi the way they’ve covered huff but I guess you could say we have a lot of underrated players on our squad
I get where you’re coming from, but Huff was the G-League DPOY averaging like 20 a game but got no playing time in the NBA before being cut by the Nuggets, who need a legitimate back up five more than just about any serious team. Aldama is definitely under the radar, but it’s hard to be more underrated than that sequence of events.
@@andresparry8104 I love them both but if I’m hearing more about huff and not a lot of aldama in the media it shocks me. One of them has the right to say they are the best of their respective countries
@@kitsorasephei4047 Very fair point, Santi has legitimate International pedigree, including playing really well in the summer games. Admittedly, I’ve been shocked how little mention I’ve heard of him given how well he has been playing. I may just be reflexively defensive of Huff after watching him dominate every team’s lottery selections in the G- League just to get shipped from south-bay (lakers), to the go-go(wizards), to Grand Rapids( Nuggets) , to the Magic summer league squad, before finally getting a real shot with the Grizzlies.

I don't think saying Moussa Diabate could be the best center on the Hornets is that crazy of a take. The best ability is availability, and Moussa has been available to play for pretty much all the games so far. He also definitely has the most presence on the glass of the Hornets centers. Even if he doesn't get the rebound, he boxes out well and has drawn a lot of fouls going after rebounds, especially offensive rebounds. Getting extra possessions for your team is huge, and he can also block some shots and can sometimes score in pick and rolls.
bilal coulibaly is WAY more underrated than poole, bilal is a future star in the nba, crazy athleticism, a solid shot, and one of the best defenders in the league
All respect to Josh Green, and I'll always cherish his time in Dallas, but HELL NO! I wouldn't think twice about keeping Josh Green over Klay. People and some fans had way too high expectations for Klay in Dallas, and even with that, Klay wasn't expected to replace Josh Green. That was Grimes who've already proven to be better than Josh as a player. (Fyi, Klay was to expected to replace Tim Hardaway Jr., a volume shooter, which, in recent stretch of games, Klay has averaged around 22ppg taking around 8-9, 3s a game on +40%. So I'm still trading Josh for Klay 10 times outta 10
I agree, I believe Klay is a player who can win you one or two games in a playoff series but I don't expect him to do it every night and he doesn't need to.
Dude has won a dunk contest. You are right that he is sneaky athletic. He tells his teamates to throw it at the backboard and he will get it. He is the definition of Pacers Basketball.
For the Warriors, it's Lindy Waters not Looney. Waters has been really good and was a bargain basement pickup. His defense has surprised me and even though his shot hasn't been what he's capable of, he's a real threat from deep. Also a really good energy guy off the bench, great attitude, dives for every loose ball, willing passer. Last year, did you have him on your bingo card as an occasional starter for the Dubs?
@ he’s been a plus defender for like 2+ years now. Even in ‘21-‘22 he was a solid defender, and he’s only gotten better as he gets more consistent playing time. The Hauser we saw in the finals last year wasn’t some fluke
To be fair he has damn near 4 all pro defenders on the team to cover for him so he can play super aggressive and not worry about getting blown by because the Celtics play a smart handoff system and Hauser's a smart dude with enough size
A few players on OKC could be considered underated due to the narrative that SGA does everything, but Dort should have made at least 1 all defensive team by now while shooting 40% from three, Hartenstein has been a godsend for the Thunder and Aaron Wiggins saved basketball
Poole is probably right for the Wizards but I might say Valančiūnas too. In his last 11 games, he's at 17@over 50%FG & 50% 3pt. His rebounds and assists are inconsistent because he just does what the Mavs need from him (Luka and Kyrie have missed a number of games so what they need changes). Good call on Grimes.....his shooting has been a revelation and he seems to have no fear in big moments (although he did struggle in the OKC Cup game). His last 10 games has been 14ppg@53%/46% which is insane. If they gave him more time, he'd be a threat to put up 20ppg. Against the Clippers last night he had 14pts in the 4th quarter and 12 of them in 3 minutes. He, Naji, Gafford, and Dinwiddie gives the Mavs one of the deepest benches in the league.
