I have the same system in my 40’ 2006 Tiffin Phaeton. Nice coach in well maintained status BUT I really worry about this Atwood system stranding us somewhere with a jack down and malfunctioning. So far it has worked but had to reset it the day I bought the coach and has had a couple glitches(that resolved somehow) in the levelers. Why they went with these and not hydraulic I have no idea. Thanks for the vid. I’m just trying to find an instruction manual.

Keep poking around on the internet I have seen a few just never printed one out. Or you could call control lab and see if they could sell you one. Good luck.

I just had the same issue go outside to the Jack that you’re having an issue with underneath it. There is a little nipple hanging out turn it about 10 or 11 times counter clockwise, then go back to your controller track to your jack turn off turn the power off turn it back. On and it should work it did for me and I was having the same exact issue you are.

Are you talking about the nut on the bottom od the jack motor? I tried everything else imaginable and still cant get the green/red lights and beeping noise to stop!!

I tried everything possible and ended up buying and installing the gama control system. I would have rather gotten the original system to work but this was my next best option. It works and it fixed my issue

@@melissawoelkerswith that system can you get both front or rear jacks to work at the same time or do you need to extend one Jack at a time? Thanks!

@@bounderchris there is a button that does all 4 at the same time but with the weight of my rv it doesn't work the best. It also has 4 seperate buttons for each jack so i normally do 2 at a time and then to fine tune the leveling i do each one individually.

Same problem..driver front..also other jacks. Not good with ectopic like you. My mechanic found out Atwood out of business and no parts available
mechanic says if I find a used jack motor Its a cap shoot..could also fail. And what if another jack fails? My issue is that when running it reads 15 Amp and shuts down..jack detects a spike. Mechanic cleaned the faulty jack..no help. Did you solve the problem permantly. Now I don't even use the jack system at all..most of time I have level RV sites. If not, I can be 1/2 bubble out of balance for frig. Other than that, last summer I used tire Ramps to level...but a pain!. BTW..4..slide out rooms are OK without jacks down.. rooms go in and retract OK

Thanks for the video, i have a blinking red/green light and alarm. Spent hours checking everything out, even took it to an rv dealer and they couldnt fix it. Took the control panel off cleaned everything, bought a new keypad, not the issue either. Im at a loss of what to do. The jack thats the problem will work if i do it independently but all jacks will not retact/extend together?

Did you check all connections from battery to breaker to control panel? Control labs had me check the voltage at the main positive at the control panel. Check Voltage drop while operating, mine went to almost zero, that's when he told me I had a problem with power coming from battery to control panel. I found loose and dirty connection at the Breaker, cleaned and tightened, fixed my issue. You may have enough power to move 1 jack but not all four. Good luck.

Thanks…. having issues too. Any chance you have spare parts? Might need a motor for one of the legs

No spare parts. They r hard to find.
I would look for someone who rebuilds electric motors to see if they can help.

Can you please share where the 50amp breaker is? I cant find it anywhere? Thanks again for all your help

    • @2lotony
      @2lotony  ปีที่แล้ว

I am sure it is in different spots on different coaches. On mine, it is below the engine battery mounted to the cross member. Follow your Large positive cables from you battery, one should go to the starter, the other to the breaker. That's how it is on mine. It should be a very short distance from the battery. Good luck.

@@2lotony thanks so much for your reply! When you say the "breaker" are you referring to the 50amp fuse? I know where the fuse panel is right near my battery but all my "breakers" are in the middle of the coach? Thanks again!

It was described to me as a breaker, since it is resetable. But yes that is what I was referring to. That is where my problem was. Loose and dirty connections.

@@2lotony i finally found out what you are referring to as the 50 amp breaker! It is a breaker and fastened to the frame near the main battery. Mine looked old and rusty so im replacing it today, crossing my fingers that it fixes my problem
