It is not a 'stupid mistake in which you got swept up in the moment'. It is a choice. And in that moment you chose to be unfaithful to your partner. Not cool. Completely cruel to your partner and speaks volumes about your character--and not in a good way. I try to keep things like these in mind to be my guide(s): -treat others how you want to be treated -don't do anything behind your partner's back that you wouldn't do in front of him/her -if it 'feels' wrong, to some extent it most likely is Communication is key in relationships. Talk things out. Set boundaries for your relationship that you both can agree on and stick to them.

honestly, the biggest reason i broke up with my ex is because he was too untrusting to me to even ask me about the facts, and jumped to the conclusion that i was borderline cheating on him with my best guy friend.
