Her moves were not robotic like the other girl and while the girl in red made a serious effort to make the angry faces and "diss" the other girl, the girl in orange kept a smile and made it fun to watch. Kudos to Tommy for this and I hope you do more of these for the young people. Tell the Brothas to put down the guns and dance. Word.

I’ve never watched this before with the kids battling it out like this! It looked like a lot of gymnastics to me But they were both in shape and doing their thing. Great way to release stress and any pent up anger issues. Express talent not violence It’s a Big Win for both of them to me kudos 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Of course dances are cultural however in our Black communities most of our younger ladies are seeing more and the influences of ass shaking, getting bigger asses or boobs, or exotic dancing/stripping as examples of dancing. When I was younger (a black girl from SE, Washington DC) we where taught dance (ballet) ...at the Boys and Girls clubs and churches...(now I am talking late 80's and 90's). You wasn't doing no butt shaking...Posture, pose balance, technique,...etc. And the young lady in the black sweater danced like she had been thought some of that....the other one shaking all over the place danced like she was just coming to shake her ass. They both did there thing however to me, the black sweater put on a better dance performance.

A male friend of mines was in this crew back when I was in high school. This is a Southern California based dance crew. Most males in the background are crew members. Yes in the 80’ and 90’s we were popping it, or ass shaking as you call it. Growing up in Houston and Los Angeles I saw this. Tommy took street dance to a new level. Ballet is great, but it’s not OUR culture. TBH what is the difference from ass shaking to exposing your p print in the air? If we’re going to be fair the word exotic means from a foreign country, so why do you associate it with hyper sexuality??? Southern Band flag girls and majorette dancers did the same thing. I think there is a regional disconnect, but it distasteful to judge another’s culture based on yours as if your is superior. For all we know the girl in orange could be from Belieze since they have a very large community in SoCal. If They still lived in LA I would hire Tommy to do my girls birthday party since that’s what they typically do. This crew is large and very well known in SoCal.

I like the girl in the red she has talent she can do all the shake and twerk dancing the girl in the orange was doing i notice that. The only difference is the girl in the orange is very shapely and thick so she looks better doing. But miss lady in the red isn't half stepping she can more than likely do everything the other girl did. Her flips and split were on point as well.

As some one that had no prior knowledge of either girl I think the girl in the orange won. Reading thru the comments it seems like many think she won as well. The girl Justice has a lot of fans in the comments and it seems to me most of yall would say she won even if you really didn't think she did lol. I could honestly watch this all day! Shout out to all these young people. I was a breakdancer growing up and it kept a lot of us out of gangs and off drugs. Of course dances are cultural however in our Black communities most of our younger ladies are seeing more and the influences of ass shaking, getting bigger asses or boobs, or exotic dancing/stripping as examples of dancing. When I was younger (a black girl from SE, Washington DC) we where taught dance (ballet) ...at the Boys and Girls clubs and churches...(now I am talking late 80's and 90's). You wasn't doing no butt shaking...Posture, pose balance, technique,...etc. And the young lady in the black sweater danced like she had been thought some of that....the other one shaking all over the place danced like she was just coming to shake her ass. They both did there thing however to me, the black sweater put on a better dance performance.

A male friend of mines was in this crew back when I was in high school. This is a Southern California based dance crew. Most males in the background are crew members. Yes in the 80’ and 90’s we were popping it, or ass shaking as you call it. Growing up in Houston and Los Angeles I saw this. Tommy took street dance to a new level. Ballet is great, but it’s not OUR culture. TBH what is the difference from ass shaking to exposing your p print in the air?

I think there is a regional disconnect, but it distasteful to judge another’s culture based on yours as if your is superior. For all we know the girl in orange could be from Belieze since they have a very large community in SoCal.
If They still lived in LA I would hire Tommy to do my girls birthday party since that’s what they typically do. This crew is large and very well known in SoCal.
