I visited Yazd during Nowruz, the Iranian New Year for a feast with locals outside the Amir Chakhmaq Complex. What an authentic experience... with super hospitable Iranian people!
Tourism in Yazd includes:
1- YAZD ATASH BEREM: The Zoroastrian "Fire Temple" with the "Divine Fire" that's been burning for over 1,500 years! Yazd is the center of Zoroastrianism, one of the world's oldest religions. Zoroastrianism is based on the teachings of the Iranian prophet Zarathustra.
2- TOWER OF SILENCE / YAZD DHAKMA - Here Zoroastrians would bring dead bodies to the OSSUARY, where they would leave them for vultures to pick their bones clean!
3- DOWLATABAD GARDEN: UNESCO World Heritage example of a beautiful Persian garden, of which there are many in Iran. Here I discovered the gorgeous stained glass interior and outside I experienced the world's tallest adobe windcatcher.
4- JAMEH MOSQUE - The crown jewel of Yazd and one of the most brilliant examples of Persian architecture in all of Iran.
And let's not forget the delicious Persian Food... In Yazd I tried Tachin for the first time. It's a crunchy saffron rice cake stuffed with chicken and topped with barberries.
Finally, I got a chance to chat with an Iranian taxi driver who told me about how his children prefer American English to other forms. I made an entire "Iranian Taxicab Confessions" video here: • What IRANIANS Think Ab...

گردشگری در یزد، ایران جذاب است. من در آخرین روز نوروز، سال نو ایرانی، از آن بازدید کردم و با مردم محلی بیرون مجتمع معروف امیر چخماق پذیرایی شدم. این نوع تجربه اصیل مورد علاقه من است... با مردم فوق العاده مهمان نواز ایرانی!
من هم بازدید کردم:
1- يزد آتش برم: «آتشكده» زرتشتيان با «آتش الهي» كه بيش از 1500 سال مي‌سوزد! یزد مرکز دین زرتشتی، یکی از قدیمی ترین ادیان جهان است. دین زرتشت بر اساس آموزه های زرتشت پیامبر ایرانی است.
2- برج سکوت / یزد ذکما - اینجا زرتشتیان اجساد مرده را به استونه می آوردند و در آنجا می گذاشتند تا کرکس ها استخوان هایشان را تمیز کنند!
3- باغ دولت آباد: نمونه میراث جهانی یونسکو از باغ ایرانی زیبا که در ایران تعداد زیادی از آن وجود دارد. در اینجا من شیشه های رنگی زیبا را کشف کردم و در خارج از آن بلندترین بادگیر خشتی جهان را تجربه کردم.
4- مسجد جامع - نگین تاج یزد و یکی از درخشان ترین نمونه های معماری ایرانی در سراسر ایران.

It’s the diplomacy and the old control paradigm… the media brainwashed people of the world around Iran and never showcased the truth of Iran and Iranian people, to isolate the country so that the government there can do whatever horrible things they want to do to the beautiful people of Iran and the amazing country , and no one knows what is going on there ….

Iranian people are great! My grandmother's dream is to visit her hometown again - Tehran.
It's a shame that because of politics you can't visit there. The people of Israel love the Iranians and so does the opposite (I believe so).

دروغ نمیگند. مقداری بزرگنمایی میکنند. خرابی اصلی کار خودمون هست. یکی تندروهایی که مردم رو اذیت میکنند یکی مسیولینی که مثلا اون هواپیما رو با مردم بیگناه میزنند شعورشون نمیرسه مسیولیت قبول بکنند کار به شکایت کردن مردم ایران از مسیولین کشور خودشون به کشورهای خارجی میکشه!! ...برو دادگاه آبان رو توی اروپا ببین عده ای مردم ایران که آبان ۹۸ صدمه خورده بودند رفتند اونجا! خوب این مملکت بی آبرو نیست که کار مردمش رو انجام نده بعد برند دست به دامن خارجی بشند که بیا حق ما رو بگیر؟ عده زیادی هم که پناهنده داری که بخاطر حقوق پناهندگی میرن هر دروغی رو به وطن و مردم خودشون میبندند مثلا میگن توی ایران من رو بعنوان مسیحی میکشند
خوب توقع داری با اینهمه شیرین کاری مردم دنیا به ما خوشبین باشند؟

Wooow, so cool , people from yazd are really original, their accent when they speak farsi is very nice I love them so much , the weather is extremely hot and dry these days right? bc of the desert that is closed to this city but nights of the desert are amazing , the sky seems closer to the earth and starry sky 😊 , it's exciting, try it but in autumn ❤❤❤at the end thanks for sharing this video I like it❤

Thank you for the mention of Zoroastrianism...Though the largest population in now in contemporary India, it is still a vital part of contemporary religions. Did you ever read "Thus Spake Zarathustra" by Nietzsche? Back in the 1800's, it was studied by academics (Bilderburg) and is again today. Persia/Iran is a foundational culture of modern religions! The chicken looks great!

Hi Phil, Nice seeing your videos on Iran and I hope you enjoy your trip. Wanted to indicate one point. Persia was a name used by the Greek and later on by the West. We always called our country Iran. then in 1930's government of Iran asked all other countries to call the country Iran.

my ancestors moved from iran to india during tamoor invegion. we still love iran as we love india
They did not move from Iran. Iran was much bigger and included parts of India.

India is not safer than Iran.
I know many Iranians (Persians/Parsi) in India that are planning to move back.
In the ice house , it wasn’ ramadan thing but it was ”sofreh haft sin” for our new year. Sometimes ramadan and norooz are at the same time but they are two totaly diffrent things that I’m sour you know it by now. I was disapointed that I didn’t see so much of norooz as told in your title.
