Teaching Sam how to play Iron Cross.
His 2nd ever game and it's been a while since he played his first game.
We are also testing out new spotting rules to add some Fog Of War.
We dropped a few rules like Elite , as both sides were Elite .
Note : elite units also remove two morale hits if they roll a 5+ when taking a CMT. (Oops)
The 101st Airborne Division fought two battles in Normandy after D-Day. The first, at Saint Côme-du-Mont, was to complete its objective of blocking possible German counterattacks from south of the Douve River and is considered part of its original airborne mission.
Small game in 28mm , I usually play in 20mm , but the rules work for 15mm or any scale you like.

Beautiful figures and table! Also the special video effects you use when the units open fire is great.

I love the die green screen effect. Best method to show the roll.

I have not done a meeting engagement before and it is interesting to see how the temptation is to repeatedly attempt to activate the same on board units rather than than bringing remaining troops on, which in turn can create a lot of concentrated fire against single targets that may suffer badly. In a game in which everything starts on the game, it can feel like there aren't enough points to activate individual units more than a couple of times as the potential of what other units can or need to to become more pressing. The system is great at delivering these decision moments. Enjoying your games. Thanks.

WE didn't have any objectives in this game other than to kill the enemy , just a learning game.
If we had objectives to take and reserves to manage , then it would have been a more tactical game.

Great tutorial. What are the counters, please? They look like old Blood Angel themed tokens.
