@Igneous rogue yeah. I hate when I hear people saying that rogue is a mid tier game. This is literally the game where we truly see the Templars perspective. While the theme is using several others from the ac series, without rogue, we would have no explanation as to why the Colonial brotherhood were wiped out. My only problem is that the assassins don’t realise that they are in the wrong until only Liam and Achilles are alive. The characters are good, and colonel monroes death stuck a landing as the saddest scene in rogue, probs barely behind shay’s attempted cliff suicide to hide the manuscript. This game fucking hits hard, and builds off of the best parts of each game
this might be the best version of ezio's family besides the original

3 months late but how about the ezio trilogy? All 3 games practically use the same engine and assets with some added weapons, armor, and equipment
Rogue is criminally underrated. It's storytelling is certainly one of the best in the series.

And even assassins creed rogue shown us that neither side are really bad as long as there is a decent person with them. Shay was a perfect example of what the templars could have been if they cared more about the world
A lot of people fail to see this, everyone is always saying Templars are bad and assassins are good. In all honesty both sides can be very bad, everyone always has a different agenda and someone out there on either side is willing to do anything to get that type of power. Like you said, Shay represents what they could have been. I was getting so tired from only playing one side saying the other side was bad, this game really made you look at the other side in a different light and made you see that your team had its flaws too. This has to be one of my favorite assassin's Creed if not my favorite just the story alone.

Honestly, I'm more with the Templars. That's not saying much, considering I hate just about everything about them (I do enjoy having free will), but they aren't hypocrites the same way the Assassins are. The Assassins espouse freedom (freedom to the point of anarchy, which isn't exactly good), and then they turn around and demand absolute obedience. They're hypocrites on a level that the Templars literally can never be.
A world run by either Assassins or Templars would be hell. Shay should've made an organization that's a sort of middle ground.
Ezio’s family theme and this theme is an S tier assassin’s creed track.
Shay Cormac would very well be the only real good kind protagonist in this whole game franchise because he stands on the neutral side even though he starts initially on the Assassin's Guild but he already begins to question the Assassin's way of doing things. By standing in the justice of the common people so as not to bring harm, he truly represents the principles of both Templars and Assassins stands for - honor, integrity, protect the innocent.
I love assassin creed rogue because it opened my eyes in real life it makes me think about life about my own ideas and beliefs the most important lesson about this game is never be afraid to make the right decision
The switch from Ezio's Family to a more piratey theme perfectly encapsulates what it means to go rogue
It's Irish gaelic music, not at all "piratey"
badass outfit with a good theme and a sweet story, upgraded gameplay of black flag with more weapons, playing as a templar and assassin, linking ac unity and 3, showing more of haytham, great main charactere with a calm and deadly voice. I don't knew why people hate this game.
As much as I liked this game, I’d have liked it even more if the story was longer. Game was trying to pull off a lot of emotional moments with the deaths of the brotherhood, but you were only with them for a handful of hours.
@@ap3x581 This ^^. Personally, I LOVED the game, but I feel like it should have been a longer game with more fleshed out characters like in AC4. There weren't too many moments in the game that felt emotional or made me shed tears, like every previous AC game. I didn't feel a lot after killing my previous Assassin comrades, and I feel like the assassinations should have left a greater impact than it actually did.

I agree about Shay being an interesting character and the return of Haytham were nice but other than that it was mostly a collectathon with a short story and nothing but reused assets from all previous ac games even this main theme but I’m not gonna lie it is a banger. As for the new weapons they really weren’t much of an improvement to naval combat even the grenade launcher was underwhelming. Sad to say but I give it a 4 out of 10
Hate? I loved this game, saw myself in Shay in that he was always out for everyone and not himself.

Absolutely normal
Normally a lot of Irish themed music is diddley-eye but this is authentic, the violin's the middle part tugs at the heartstrings with a feeling of Irish pride is exactly how any music that is Irish, Celtic or heavily influenced should be.

I think this theme perfectly encapsulates ac 3 more than ac rouge. It has that English excellence with the violin but the flute doubles as a English instrument and airy Native American sound which matches Connors character way more that Shay. And the theme has this sense of adventure that hasn’t been replaced till this day(2021)

At first, I didn't see anything inside that hood of his like most Assassins but after playing and finishing the game and contemplating his character and the actions he made, I can see his eyes now and the determination he carries with it.
Yes, if you look past the "shadowy" part of his hood, you can see his left eye clear enough. In a way, it is symbolic of him shedding some of his Assassin past and stepping into the light of the Templar but you won't notice it during your initial inspection of the cover art since you haven't progressed into the main story yet to know the meaning behind it but it is there to those who's going to inspect the box art a second time.
It feels so weird but at the same time good that one of the less popular entries still is packed with such quality, including this theme, now I love this game, it’s one of my favourite AC games but I know it’s not very popular with others. They definitely ended the AC era for PS3 and 360 on the right note

just discovered this channel, amazing content!
Rogue is in my personal top 3, and I played every single player game except Valhalla. (As in ALL of them, the DS and psp/vita games as well). Rogue was not really a master in anything. But it had a nice balance of everything. It had fun ship stuff, but not to much. It had both city and nature exploration. It had a personal story and a larger plot. It had fun combat as well, with Shay having one of the must fun arsenals at his disposal in the whole franchise. He could climb trees like connor, had a very fun eagle vision where he could see people hiding to kill him (Assassins became more scary when they where the ones hunting you, so seeing Shay see his hunters and hunt them in return was pretty cool), was good with both ranged and close combat. Shay is a jack of all trades, master of none except maybe his hunting abilities. He's a strong fighter, a nimble fighter, good with both guns and swords. He also asks questions, actualy wonders if what he's doing is right which more then most other protags who murder people as the solution do. His game likewise is a jack of all trades, master of none. Everything this game has, maybe 1 game does better. But those games who do that 1 thing better often have several things they do worse. Rogue was a neat package, that did almost everything right even if not perfect. It never outstayed it's welcome, the missions where balanced.. And I for one love that this game isn't huge. AC can tell smaller stories from time to time, more streamlined. Anyway, I love Rogue. Top 3 for sure. And Shay is one of the most interesting characters in the franchise (to me). For those saying the brother hood was cartoony evil here, remember that templars are often cartoony evil as well. If anything that just shows you should take how templars are portrayed in most games with a grain of salt as well. I do hope more AC games are made where neither side is cartoony, and more where you can play as a templar. (The Kenway saga did have the best templars in my opinion)

I love this theme so much after ac revelations theme!!!.... I loved the storyline but didn't like mechanics of the game open world and stuff weren't good as expected....

Some of Future World Music tracks have similar vibes (Victory of Life, Élan Vital, Final Judgement, Aqua Vitae). From Two Steps From Hell: Nero, Infinite Legends, Moonlight Armies, Breathe. The Wolf and the Swallow from the Witcher 3. And Assassin's Creed - Revelation Theme.
Maybe not all of these related the way you like, but give them a try.
Also I don't now what sub-genre would this be. Sad/emotional/dramatic/violin/choir. Something like that...

@@NiCoNiCoNiCola I think what he's trying to say is that the genetic memories of Arno and the Frye twins were likely also examined by Abstergo researchers, same as the ones from Black Flag and Rogue. There's even a personal tablet you can find in Abstergo Montreal in Rogue that talks about a researcher going into Arno's memories, but in all four of those games, the protagonist is never shown, because it's supposed to be the actual player. With Black Flag, that researcher ended up leaving Abstergo. Rogue's either became a Templar or died in the CEO's office. As for the Helix Initiate for Unity and Syndicate, their current status isn't something Ubisoft's shown at the moment.
If Shay and Connor had met maybe they would've fought each other. But I also like to think that they would've had a very deep and interesting conversation.

It is classified as orchestra , there r channels that have music of that genre , u can subscribe to epic music world and epic music world 2 , they have lots epic , some heroic like and some calm
I’d assume it’s considered orchestra. You’ll find the best of music runs in a film or a game, unfortunately not enough people know about this type of music anymore. Not to say modern music tastes are completely trash, but these types of songs are for older souls man, and I’d argue that’s a good thing

This is the best one, they should have put it in Black Flag
It doesn’t really feel like it would fit black flag as anyways, this theme is borrowing other themes. It uses the black flag theme and the ac 2 theme. But it is one of the best. I just think it fits more as a song for a man searching for the right side of the fence to jump to, when one side has a wolf, and the other a bear

I was thought that it'll be just long version of original song which just made longer in the middle and ending like original version. But I'm glad I was wrong. This is much more better than I expected
P.S. Original version also extremely good, but this mix I liked a bit more. Maybe due to of length and a little more vocal, than the original have, I think this vocal make this song better.

My favourite AC game is Assassin's Creed Rogue due to everything it offers it's perspective change an Irish Assassin/Templar as the protagonist but if I had choose a second favourite it would be,the Ezio Trilogy as a whole but,AC 2 being the best of Ezio's Story
