Great video again Nick. My 1st flight in a month last Sunday & I heard you talking to East Midlands radar. I was on a mock skill test with 05 - almost there but I'm gonna need another one before the real thing!!
Martin Bowles aaaah, was that you down near Northampton in GO? I saw it pop up on SkyDemon and couldn’t believe they’d fitted new avionics! 😆 If so, I was keeping a good eye out as the two of us wouldn’t have been *that* far apart as I was flying around my house not too far from Bruntingthorpe. I know what you mean though - that was my first flight in JF in two months. I’d gone for a night refresher with 05 a month back and every time I’d had mine booked since the weather has been abysmal! Got it booked for this Sun too... I’ll pray to the weather gods! 😆 Mock skill test though! 👍🏻 Not long now...! I shall keep my fingers crossed for you! At least if you manage to get it done during the winter then hopefully the wait won’t be too long for the licence application to get processed. Good luck, whenever it happens!
Hey Nick! Yep, that was me although I was having a bit of a moment around Northampton while working out a diversion. Not my greatest hour! Was planning my test for yesterday until that mock and given the weather am pretty relieved it worked out that way GO has definitely had a big upgrade. MC is next I believe. It's something else to learn to use but certainly has benefits Onwards to 2019. Merry Christmas!

I had JF booked for a flight yesterday but given the weather I decided that time spent on the ground would have been a bit safer 😉 Hope you manage a reschedule soon and get it all done and out of the way! Do you know who your examiner will be? Is it Jag, or have you got an external coming in? I’ve got the plane again this weekend, if the weather plays ball.
