Buddy of mine races on of those two wheel death traps...no thanks...enjoy your channel...got cool buddies with nice rides...I'm not a Ford guy either...
Almost looks like it's extending too fast and shifting y The weight back to the nose. Or it's just already knocking the tire off at that point causing the rear to raise..
I am not seeing the back end rising off the start line I think the rear shocks are to tight and that was the first thing john said he was going to do was tighting tne compression on the shocks
Hi John, nice that you’re trying to get after it. Just wanted to know the shift point, if you have it set at at time as a condition so if it loses the tyre it won’t shift to top
Great idea, we have been shifting it at 8400 and not using time.... So when it does kick the tire, it shifts into second. I'm gonna change that..... Make it go at least 1.5 seconds before it can shift. Thanks
Front end doesn't rise and transfer wt to the back. At 13:50 the front pops up a couple inches and falls right back down and then the tires break loose.
At that level of racing the tires have a very short life. Maybe it's time for a new set. I have heard kc Maxx say 17 passes on slicks and the good is gone.
Unfortunately, those pro tuners cannot be at the track every time unless you have a pretty big budget! Most every racer out there, tunes boost ramp and timing to make the cars go down track.
That track crew needs to be fired before they get someobody killed! Someone should let those rookies know traction compound with a hint of M1 goes in the spray jug, NOT WATER! I worked for a local track and didnt know about the mix and refilled the jug with straight compound 🤷♂️ had a couple Jr dragster dads PISSED at me! 😂
May need more time wrenching and little less time TH-cam ing. Lot of time and money invested in a car you can’t drive safely. Randy and wife seem to be salt of the earth. Don’t want to see him hurt. Wish I had some sound advice but I stay up in 9-10 second range. Lot safer for older guys. Lol
But then ya'll will not have anything to watch from us. Believe it or not, I spend very little time filming when at the track.... 80 percent of the time is tuning and working on the car!
Ha Jon I take it ur done with No Prep racen, u say the Saturn isn't fast enough to compete so l guess that's Y U haven't attended any NP Races and the new car u guys are building is a radial car, so l guess that's a rap with Back Side NP Racen for TJ, this radial Racen is boring AF, but that's all ur content seems to be about for months now, just not the same!!!???!!!
Yall play too much , track is NOT GOOD and throw too much off line seemingly. If it was me in control of 100,000 show-mod I'd know how to tune , tire pressure and shock need to extend. No give, or, and little too no compression not work in any cond "Let's see if it's gonna work"? Would not be exceptional as the go-to. Feel for you guy's. Why the big wonder ? Hoosier ? Big Randy was wheeling that thing!
Randy's paint always looks immaculate
That track was not going to let you close to pb, keep up the work guys
Great save Randy
Track is really sticky! Be safe out there testing. Good luck Randy & TJohn!🤩🤩

Keep at it guys yall got this
Tires got scuffed in. Always a bright spot.😊
Cant wait till your Pro Mod is out there making passes
When Randy's car spends it always goes to the right it never spends and stay straight I've noticed this in previous videos
Randy probably has to dry is shorts out after that day
I dont know what it is but I just love a box s10 on the drag strip there just bad ass
🤔🤔🤔maybe next time guys keep up then great work
Almost looks like it's extending too fast and shifting y
The weight back to the nose. Or it's just already knocking the tire off at that point causing the rear to raise..
Its like your back where you started from originally? Seems like foul play going on here or some really really bad luck.
You can tell the ones who have their shit together like the other red fox body and the white nitrous nova
Prep was to think. Didn't flash off.
You just had to mess with the shocks and anti roll bar. After it worked so well last time. 🙄🤔
Well, it didn't really work..... it did, but it was moving hard left....it's better now, but still pushing some
Just curious, does Randy's car still have the turbo scavenge pump on it? Did that resolve the smoking issues?
No, the turbo is high enough now it drains properly to scavenge on dry sump pump.
I am not seeing the back end rising off the start line I think the rear shocks are to tight and that was the first thing john said he was going to do was tighting tne compression on the shocks
It's hard to see it in the vids. On the data log, the rear shock was 1" more extended about .6 seconds into the run.
Track giving a lot of drivers fits. Not sure your routine but maybe double check your rear suspension thoroughly
He doesn't seem to have nearly enough travel on the front.

@@TurboJohnRacing no worries mate

We were trying to get it to transfer, but we ended up with front struts too loose and it was hitting limter hard
I not a tuner but dammit John can you not see that the leave is not the problem its the ramp your trying to bring in to much power to early
Once I turned it up, I had a very hard time taming it back down......lol
Does Randy's car got a factory floor in it John well if so then it's a badass street car not a pro mod😂❤
Randy if you have canister rear shocks check the pressure in them
They are canister, we did not check them but will.
They may need to be serviced.
Randy looks like a dirt tracker
What color red is that?!
Prolly just me but it seemed like launch rpm was higher too
Yes, we have been leaving 4800-5000 last few weeks.
That track is acting like someone dumped a gallon of 10W30 in with the track prep.
Lots of fast cars were making it work. Our 2nd to last test pass, car right behind us went 1.05 60'.
😮
The raccoons that watch that says that somebody didn't know what they is doing with track prep and you still get a pass on the tax just saying.
I would think 🤔 you would have kept tune same or just a little less than last Friday. A to B PASS TO START. THAT MOTOR MAKES A LOT OF PONIES.
Get the suspension fixed then go win. 😀
As a bike racer.....i appreciate the little coverage with the bike 😊
Those 4.60 bikes were pretty cool
At that level of racing the tires have a very short life. Maybe it's time for a new set. I have heard kc Maxx say 17 passes on slicks and the good is gone.
These were new.
What up bro
Many cars is struggling in this track..only the white truck just have a good pass.. something not right in this track
For us, it was us for sure. Lots of fast cars were making it down.
Man just turn down then back up
Just looks like the track wasn't there for what you guys were going for. Coulda slowed it down just to go down but not the progression your after.
Raise the car and work with chassis balance. It sitting to low and the chassis isn’t working.
Unfortunately, these front struts don't have enough travel to raise it much.
If your gonna run a high horsepower high dollar outfit like you got randy you need to hire a professional tuner like Pete

That is a lot of money not to have a guy like Petty come spend a few days lining that car out.
It would be well worth the money.
I heard you can get addicted to playing with laptop just saying

Sounds like you know what your doing, maybe you should join a live and give your expert advice.
Where's your car? What you got? How fast are you?
