Florida State vs. Notre Dame: The Seminoles had to go to penalty kicks to defeat Notre Dame in the 2022 ACC Semifinals. Florida State took a 2-1 lead in the 32nd minute, but Notre Dame took a 3-1 lead in the 57th minute after scoring two goals in a span of 27 seconds. Korbin Albert had a hat trick for the Fighting Irish. Emma Bissell tied up the game in the 73rd minute for FSU, and no one would score again for the remainder of regulation or overtime. Florida State would win 4-2 in the penalty kicks to advance to the ACC Championship game.
