Second half of 1st chapter was the important part while first half was an after thought addition, this chapter has only 25% story of what director actually wrote for entire film, the rest 75% is in chapter 2

Do you think that distraction of death of boss is enough not to investigate mines? That is plot hole. To keep story moving they tried to show some random development in story. But garuda's army would still have gone to mine to see why there was fire. But it's just a movie who cares.

Here's the whole story simplified . Kgf was a gold field discovered by garudas dad , he built an empire and set his goons(Andrews,shetty,etc) in different places for total control . He grew old and promised garuda to make him the owner of the field and adheera(who was garudas uncle) said that he won't eye the field until fall of garuda . But after this adheera tried to kill garuda and failed but was killed by garuda in a bomb blast(even though everyone thought so , it didn't happen). Now rocky was a growing mob in Bombay , and thought Bombay as most powerful place to control. Garuda knew that his father's goons will be after his life for kgf and wanted to kill them but couldn't until his father was alive. And hence Andrews invited rocky to kill garuda at dyss office and promised him Bombay in return , but seeing that Bombay was offered at such ease he lost his interest in it . At dyss office came to know that garudas place is what worth the effort so he went to kgf. The goons thought that rocky will kill and leave kgf and that he'll be satisfied with Bombay. Rocky went to kgf , studied everything and built people trust on him , so that he can lead them. In the starting we are also told about ilahit Khan from middle East who also owns a gold business there , he also wanted kgf and had been waiting for a chance. One of the goon in politics was also facing threat in politics by a female leader , who coul make trouble for kgf. Rocky succeeded in assassinating garuda and captured kgf . Everybody else thought that kgfs owner spot was open , and they don't know that rocky claimed it , so now everybodies coming for kgf while rocky will have to defend himself , that's what will make part 2 amazing.
