Man wouldn't it have been something if Modok was voiced by his original VA from the 90s Iron Man cartoon played by Jim Cummings, would have made it even more hilarious and add in green Mandarin aswell from the show saying "You dolt, what are you doing?" Oh I actually forgot that the 2nd season of Iron Man cartoon, each of Iron Man's villain from S1 got Mandarins ring, including Modok, so this isn't that much different just without Mandarin. It just amazes me how it took this long to get a Mandarin in the movie universe considering his 10 rings are made of ancient alien tech just as the infinity stones are made of alien tech, it's just Mandarins rings are Fing Fang Fooms property or that dragon.
JUST BEAT HIM! I got a winning strategy now: - Dont use superpowers. It only matters getting the purple bar down to zero and then stun him. You need heroes to beat him with X & Y. Its faster than powers. - Dont use magic powers. Magic is useless against him. You need physical weapons. Psylocke is really good. - MODOK's stun time is very very short. So dont bother using L+R. By the time they start their extreme power, MODOK will already recover. Literally the only thing that matters in this fight is hitting him with X & Y buttons. Beat him until the purple bar goes to zero and then keep hitting him. Use your superpowers only on the little guys he controls. You need to take out his sidekicks first so that all your heroes gang up on MODOK. Otherwise they will be distracted everywhere in the room. Beat the little guys first then gang up on him. NEVER hit MODOK from the front. He will react really fast. You need to hit him from behind or his sides, which is really hard because he will always turn to face you because he knows you are the player not the engine. I replaced all my magic users with people who fight with weapons. Psylocke, Black Panther, Ghost Rider and Deadpool are great for this.
Modok is one of my favorite villains ever for no apparent reason
This fight is literally impossible on superior difficulty. I am at level 80 and can not come close. His fucking lasers are ridiculously OP.

Ultimate alliance 1 was more creative, and it made MODOK look scarier I love the gritty look of the game

Lol no just keep at it, he beat me at least 15 times. Just be patient, dodge his purple laser at all costs, and don't let the aim soldiers build up.
I just went up close and personal with him and spammed all my characters powers
Failed on this modok boss fight like 80 times now. Soloing with the ai sucks. They just stand in the lasers and his heal. I’m done

Have you tried just grinding levels untill you're at least the area level or 5 above it? That what I did when I would get beat or barely win
