Indeed no where in history have we heard of a divine prison escape as described by Pastor Yun which is similar to Peter's prison escape written in the book of Acts. The author of the book The Heavenly Man puts Pastor Yun on a high pedestal for such a modern day prison escape. Pastor Yun's testimony seemed to exalt himself as well. When he got a fake passport to flee China to Myanmar, he landed in troubles with Myanmar immigration. I thought if it was God's plan for him to flee, would not God provide him a safe way to flee rather than deceiving the local authorities? Peter did not flee to another country. Paul and Silas also did not attempt to escape from prison when their chains were loosed but stayed and sang praises to God and so saved and led the warden and family to their salvation. When Pastor Yun fled, I could feel that he fled from Jesus' commandment to feed His sheep. By doing so, he missed the golden opportunity of serving Jesus and feeding Jesus' sheep in his own native country because today China has the greatest numbers of Christians in the world. There is freedom of worship in China, Pastor Yun did not need to face persecutions and be labelled a criminal if he had obeyed what Jesus had said, which is, to render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. He did not need to be harassed, arrested and imprisoned, tortured and went on hunger strike. All he had to do was to be a law abiding citizen in order to worship and preach the Gospel. He could register a church with the local authority and so worship freely but instead he chose to gather people to worship in an underground church which was not registered with the local authority. As he testified, he was arrested each time he moved to another location, all this time he chose to defy the local authority. In breaking the local laws, he had become a criminal by his own choosing. I have been to China since early 2000s and had attended church services in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang, Chengdu and Wuhan, all the churches I attended were registered with the local authorities. The local churches all provided 2 worship services, one for the local Chinese and the other for foreigners. I had even attended the worship services for local Chinese and witnessed attendances were full capacity. Not once in all my visits had I seen police presence in these church services. Underground churches still exist until today and I believe the police will continue to harass and close these unauthorized or illegal places of worship so these 'Christians' who dare to defy the local authorities will face arrests and persecutions as criminals.
Repent and Follow God. Cease from this harlotry; from dancing with God and Satan simultaneously. The time is here when the Lord will pit the 666s against the 777s. You'd better ascertain which side of the fence you want to be on. Peace be unto you!
And you know the real facts your just specualting as u weren't there in jail with him so your just assuming and will be accountable for fake word u wrote.b
by Paul Hattaway Brother Yun never supernaturally escaped from prison in 1997." This has been one of the main issues of Pastor Samuel Lamb's attack on Brother Yun. When I researched Yun's book, I interviewed three eyewitnesses who saw this remarkable situation unfold with their very eyes. They were all pastors in prison with Yun at the time, having been arrested at the same meeting. Their testimonies proved to be consistent, even though I interviewed each of them at separate times and in different places. We also have the testimony of the family whom Yun visited immediately after his escape. As a writer, it was not a difficult decision for me to include this testimony in Yun's book. On one side I had a group of eyewitnesses whose testimony correlated with Yun's, and on the other, the testimony of those who were not there and who know nothing about the situation. I want to go on record to say I remain confident that the testimonies I wrote in The Heavenly Man book are true and accurate.
