I honestly cannot fathom why people focus on Atomic’s flip. The dude was an absolute animal the entire tournament and was one of the most outstanding “team” players all through it. BDS were already stomping G2 positionally by the last two series. It’s idiotic to focus on this one key moment when he translated so much to get them to yet another crazy grand finals.
Dralii was so on fire - he was so hyped up compared to his usual calmness. Especially in the finals, he scored so many insane goals and was always everywhere. Them winning EWC and now Worlds is insane.
Feel so bad for him. He was way off this tournament. I’m surprised g2 made it all the way but beastmode is undeniably the best player in the world right now.

What a tournament! This is the closest World’s tournament so far in recent years. Any of the top six could be the champion, I guess... All the matches were so close this Sunday. Now, talking about individuals, Dralii and Beastmode are the top two players right now. Both have insane skills.
The character development for Dralii is crazy, from the fall split when KC reverse swept them in the regional semis he was whiffing all his touches and you could tell the pressure got to him to now scoring a hat trick in the championship clinching game and showing so much confidence, this kid is gonna be a problem for years to come
As a G2 fan this one hurt but it was an amazing season. I can’t be upset with the season as a whole and this roster still has so much left. Monkey Moon is the greatest player of all time, it’s actually ridiculous how dominant he’s been.

most competitive worlds sure, but (and this is not slander but reality) EU crowd is incredibly clear of NA crowd to its basically impossible to have a goated LAN in the US. Germany Worlds still beats this one simply because of the crowd and the storyline. BUT still an amazing tournament

Obviously winning a must win BO7 is more important than winning a Swiss stage match so it least BDS got their revenge leaving no questions unanswered as why they deserved this chip , they also had the hardest route of any team so they deserved it a 100% . Falcons are definitely a top 3 team in the world but when they reach the latter stages of tournaments they just can't break through against the hardest opposition . At times they seem unbeatable and at other times they seem very beatable because of their playstyle , if they continue like this and make some adjustments I have no doubt they will win a LAN or even WORLDS but only time will tell .

The worst team you say ? They went 7-1 in the most stacked WORLDS ever . All the teams they beat are high quality teams . They beat Oxygen , Gen.G , , Gentle Mates , Furia , they avenged their loss to Falcons in the semis ( much more important match than the Swiss stage ) and G2 TWICE . They have beaten 4 out top 6 teams and 5 out of top 8 teams and again beat the finalists twice , they had the hardest rode to the final and to the chip . All worlds is is just a over hyped major. G2 was in all 3 major finals so they were easily the best team this year. I saw BDS miss too just at better times to miss

IMO BDS had the hardest rode to the final and they beat G2 2 times in a BO7 format , you can't do much but tip your hat and congratulate them . BDS really has became G2's nightmare at worlds so I can understand a lot of NA fans hate them because of it .

Hot take, but G2 need a new coach. Position for position they're more talented than BDS. He's the RL version of Doc Rivers. Bro has consistently underpreformed with the level of talent he has. He legit has the three best players in NA on one team and can't break through.

Sorry but you can't pin that all on Satthew. Sure you could say he should've called the timeout after game 4 of the GF, but you can't blame him for his players inability to ice up in the most crucial moments. Besides, there isn't really another coach in NA of that caliber as of right now, so no point trying to replace him.
BDS was definitely the worse team in this tournament. G2 deserved the title, but one or two mistakes saved BDS again.

The worst team you say ? They went 7-1 in the most stacked WORLDS ever . All the teams they beat are high quality teams .
They beat Oxygen , Gen.G , , Gentle Mates , Furia , they avenged their loss to Falcons in the semis ( much more important match than the Swiss stage ) and G2 TWICE .
They have beaten 4 out top 6 teams and 5 out of top 8 teams and again beat the finalists twice , they had the hardest rode to the final and to the chip .
