  • Welcome back to the Scarborough Model Railroaders and the next instalment of our video series about JMRI operations, and how they are used on our club's HO scale layout. Today we'll be following an Extra Freight West as it picks up empties and loads for destinations off the layout. A little more mainline running, and little less switching out customers today.     Nice layout,but never liked paper cards on top of rolling,but again great layout.

      @@nicolasg.6232 the magnet is actually glued in place between the rails, and when the cars are pushed over them the magnetic force pushes the couplers away from each other effectively "uncoupling" them. This requires the cars to have knuckle couplers installed that have magnetic trip pins on them. Most manufacturers now offer couplers with their cars that work with this system, although some work better than others

    Turn down the sound of the locomotive, much to loud. very iritating, for the rest looks fantastic.
