kim sherman Great, at least I’m not the only one. I’ve heard many people state that they do not like the gray. I absolutely get it if they enjoy color over greyscale.
Yay for a completed Stalogy that is used and loved! I feel very sad when some ppl paste their stuff on the Stalogy paper so very frequently. I have been using my B6 Stalogy for more than 366 days, and for my upcoming uni semester I'm also using a half year Stalogy as my bujo through May. Your bujo student spread ideas are really helpful as a guide 💕
I had a Stalogy sitting on my shelf for like... a year? Your videos made me want to finally try it out when I ran out of pages in my old notebook. 10 days in and I am definitely loving it! :)
This is a great review. I just recently bought the Stalogy B6. I can't wait to use it! I've been looking for a notebook that could handle my lamy safari without the ink spreading too much.
I think every notebook I've used frequently has that same discolouration, so it's not just the Stalogy! Thanks for this review. I have a Stalogy that I have yet to use. Really good to know about the lack of ink transfer because my current bullet journal does get ink transfer with gel pens.
That's really helpful information, thank you! Yes, it is pretty good, definitely not as bad as the moleskine but I imagine if you use a really thick gel pen the transfer might be more likely to happen, however, with my 0.5mm gel pen I don't really get any ☺️
Great review. I like the stalogy a lot although I wish the grid was a tad darker. I find this paper takes most pens/inks. It’s one of my top 3 papers. Your Bujo is gorgeous!
I wish I could like the stalogy as much as you do. My deal breaker is the actual notebook cover. As I don't own a cover for it, and haven't yet found one that just screams "pick me", I'm probably one of the pickiest people with notebooks. The Stalogy cover (especially the black one) reminds me of these old-old notebooks that me and my friends used to write pen&paper roleplaying (in forum paragraph format and all that) for 3 years. I still have them and while I admit we didn't treat them with much grace and care, they're one of the things I really don't like to flip through just because the cover has chipped into parts. They're now 17+ years old notebooks so the age shows... Not to mention how long they werw just lying unused in one of our houses prior to that.
@@KaitlinGrey I guess the cover needs to be cardstock or something. The less plastic / pleather is better for me since I have dogs and animal hair loves to stick on them if they lay on my desk for a day or two. No idea why. I tend to use the Hobo a5 sizes as my everything at the moment. (Started from weeks and then just super sized it.) I just use a Midori cover-on-cover to those that are constantly on the go, as a plus I can change a photo or art under those mid week or mid year. I just use the daily pages as notes without caring of the date, weekly for visual schedule and so on. While obviously a planner, I use it just as a notebook for language learning and writing world building ideas. For next year I got a separate plain notebook from them as a filler because last month I used 32 pages in 4 days while killing time at work. Edit to add: So I'm hoping that I manage to separate the notes by category that all the... 500-600 pages will last me a year.
Thank you! Yes, it is in the works but what I do have right now is lettering guides where you can trace each letter, which is how I learned. I have them linked in the description but yes, lettering video will be happening!
@@celina-trieu ahaha why THANK YOU Celina, I hope you find them helpful and if you have any questions, lmk and I'd be happy to help! So I use a couple different markers, in my setup video for the new journal I list them in the order of the key so its easier to know which colour is which, but off the top of my head I use the tombow dual brush pens in 990, 800, mildliner in the dark blue, faber castell pitt artist pen in 272 and 274 and yes, I believe that's all of them. But, yes, I'd check that video if you want to know what one marker is specifically 😄
So sorry to be this commenter but- even after extensive googling- I can’t find those brass tabs you use anywhere. Can you please let me know where you got them?
No need to apologize, I'm happy to relay the info! They're called the chiratto index tabs in orange and I bought mine from a local shop in Toronto but you can also get them from Jet Pens.
Bandit and Cass Thank you so much 😭 Also, you inspired me to rev up my old insta and post some of my minimalist spreads. I always thought they were too simple to share.
Love this! I love stalogy paper. I always cover up that grey with cardstock. I might try just printer paper next time. Have you tried chalk stamps? The dry time/never really drying is why I don't like hobonichi planner 😬
Oh, printer paper is a good idea, one concern I had with cardstock is it being too bulky, but printer paper solves that problem. So yes, thank you Chantelle, as always you share the most genius hacks! I have not tried chalk stamps but I get what you mean about the hobonichi, I'm not a fan of the long dry time either.
This is verrrry random, but I’ve just heard of Stalogy and your videos are the first I found! The random question is - I noticed your nails are so long and gorgeous as compared to your earlier video with the 3 notebooks 😊 I am trying to quit biting my nails… any nail tips?? Haha thank you!!!
Hahaha yes yes, ex nail biter here! I quite biting my nails during Covid so that’s why they look a bit different in all my 2019 vids! I stopped a couple years ago so the details on what I did are a bit fuzzy but I remember what really helped me was keeping a nail file around at all times (one of my biting triggers was if I got a hang nail), so I would have one at my desk, in my pencil case, etc. Another thing I also did was paint them so it was harder to bite them! Hope that helps and good luck!
Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed this Stalogy video! Let me know what notebook you are planning on using for the new year!
I must be the only one that loves the gray interior of the Stalogy...lol. Thank you for sharing.
I’m glad it brings someone else joy! Haha for some reason it just isn’t my cup of tea 🤷🏼♀️
I like the gray as well. :)

Oh yay, Maria, I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying it! Happy journalling 💕
I love this review! It was great to see a filled Stalogy that doesn’t have all the tip-ins and stickers.
Thanks, I'm so glad it was helpful!

Thank you Victor, I’m so happy to hear that! B6 is my favourite size, I hope you enjoy it and ooh Lamy, I’ve heard many good things about that pen 😯

Your Bujo is gorgeous!
Thank you Dre! I hear you, as much as I love the light grid, sometimes when I don't have my glasses I feel the same way!
Where is your green eraser from?

So pretty! I love your hand lettering, would you ever make a tutorial on how you form your letters? 🤍

Would love to know which size this is? Maybe I missed it 🤍
It’s B6 size!
How did you find it locally?
I live in Toronto and found this guy at Laywines, Paper Plus Cloth and Wonderpens 😄
