There are a lot of reasons why some people don't have kids, not just because they are 'selfish' or don't like children. Some people have infertility issues, some have financial reasons, some are struggling with substance issues or just didn't find the right partner until they were much older. It's insane to imply that the only way to contribute and have a stake in society is to reproduce biological children. Vance seems like the other extreme side of the coin of people who try to make NOT having kids their major personality trait.
I never had kids and I've been paying property tax for 40 years. 80 percent of my property tax goes to public education. I am happy to pay that money for other people's children to get a good education and in turn become a successful citizen.

As a parent to four children who are now grown adults, and are the source of my unending pain and depression I can say that I wish I had not had any children. I would’ve been a much happier person and many of my friends who chose to not have children are richer, happier And do not suffer from the pain of the disappointment that your children can cause you so no this person is completely wrong. Family does not guarantees stability. Family does not guarantee happiness. Family does not guarantee and certainly doesn’t guarantee anything. In fact family robs. You of my children are just waiting for me to die to take what earned . I live in a pretty large suburb of a major city in the US and a couple of days ago a three year old child fell out of a window in an apartment building, and I forget whether it was 8 or 9 stories up, but of course the child died. The parents had been investigated several times for child neglect because one of their small children was found at a gas station near the house and was afraid to go home. But of course the kids were left with the parents even though that should’ve been a dead giveaway that they were not being good parents. So my point is that those of us who chose not to have children for various reasons; in my case because I feel that the Earth is already overpopulated with humans and I didn’t want to add to that burden, are sociopathic while people who carelessly let their child fall out of a window that they knew had no screen on it are apparently better for this country and its mental health than I am? Honestly, I only watch the news because I feel it it’s my responsibility to remain informed, but I would like to be on an island away from all this nonsense, and BS because it’s making me sick. The worst of the worst is rising to the top like feces floating in water. Thank God there’s a ray of light with Kamala running. For a while there I thought I was gonna have to move to Canada. As a parent to four children who are now grown adults, and are the source of my unending pain and depression I can say that I wish I had not had any children. I would’ve been a much happier person and many of my friends who chose to not have children are richer, happier And do not suffer from the pain of the disappointment that your children can cause you so no this person is completely wrong. Family does not guarantees stability. Family does not guarantee happiness. Family does not guarantee and certainly doesn’t guarantee anything. In fact family robs. You of my children are just waiting for me to die to take what earned . Furthermore, none of the men that I’ve ever known wanted to support family or take care of a wife in anyway they lack the courage isn’t women who are the problem. The failures in my family came from the failure of the men around me. Who failed to lead and who failed to raise up good humans. So again these people are dangerous. They have no idea that life is not black-and-white that things have nuance. I absolutely loved being a mom and raising my children only to be disrespected and mistreated and castaway when I no longer was useful to them.

I live in a pretty large suburb of a major city in the US and a couple of days ago a three year old child fell out of a window in an apartment building, and I forget whether it was 8 or 9 stories up, but of course the child died. The parents had been investigated several times for child neglect because one of their small children was found at a gas station near the house and was afraid to go home. But of course the kids were left with the parents even though that should’ve been a dead giveaway that they were not being good parents. So my point is that those of us who chose not to have children for various reasons; in my case because I feel that the Earth is already overpopulated with humans and I didn’t want to add to that burden, are sociopathic while people who carelessly let their child fall out of a window that they knew had no screen on it are apparently better for this country and its mental health than I am? Honestly, I only watch the news because I feel it it’s my responsibility to remain informed, but I would like to be on an island away from all this nonsense, and BS because it’s making me sick. The worst of the worst is rising to the top like feces floating in water. Thank God there’s a ray of light with Kamala running. For a while there I thought I was gonna have to move to Canada. Sorry, but inferring, or stating, as Vance did, that single people's votes are somehow inferior to the votes of married people, sounds like something Hitler would have said. Can only hope he has a sound mind, which at the moment doesn't seem to be the case.
I am a self employed, life long bachelor with no wives, girl friends or children. My favorite activity is viewing and making comments on You Tube and watching my bank account grow larger.
