When you first said you were doing this, I thought it would be the festival one. I didn't think the last one got premiered already. Also, now I want a game focusing on the CPUs as teens being trained by True Arfoire. And yes, please season 2 focusing on V2. That game could honestly make an anime could probably do a normal length season if they really wanted to/had the budget. (Wishful thinking? Probably. But let a guy dream.) And I think the dish Arfoire made that Neptune actually ate was a pierogi. At least that's what it looked like to me.
@@shelbybayer200 In the Hyperdimension. The Superdimension that the original game takes place in doesn't strictly need to follow those rules since we know the Ultradimension has different ones.
I can see people taking Japanese learning classes just to understand what the Nep is going on here but you certainly understood the events better than me. And this goes without saying but Chrome’s debut here suddenly makes more sense and I am on the train for more in-game Purfoire (still not a fan of the Superdimension from the first game being unrelated to the sequels otherwise I feel Re;Birth2 may as well count as the first mainline) because it’s just sad that this adoption thing was only temporary even if she’s a bit too into the eggplant game though there’s certainly more that could’ve been explored (including the franchise canon in general). Now I hear OVAs tend to not be dubbed and I’m not an expert to know why. Even if some may be sick to death about dub topics but why do I feel the second season won’t get a dub either. But hey, at least Uzume’s back and hopefully all of the quirky Gold Third eventually tag along too.
Thought this ova was great! The ChildPUs were adorable, and nep’s new goddess form was so great! Personally I see that nep form as sort of a “cpu candidate” transformation, as she looks so similar to her regular form just like how the candidates look pretty close to their regular forms when transformed, especially nepgear. And I guess this also means RPG is partially cannon now? At least according to the anime. (Also part of me wishes peashy could have interacted with kid neptune, but I know that would not fit the episode at all. Just my slight bias showing lol. I just hope the ultradimension goddesses aren’t going to be forgotten in the VII adaptation like they were in the game, with literally one half mention of one of them.)
I won't lie the bond between Young Neptune and Young Arfoire was very cute and it would be cool to see Arfoire unintentionally be nice towards Neptune when they fight. Oh maybe when Arfoire or Neptune are about to attack each other then suddenly get a vision of there younger selfs which at times makes them hesitated to attack each other.
Assuming V2's story is going to be a season two of the anime, I can totally see that being how they end her involvement in the story rather than going with the Zero Dimension counterpart from the game.

Isn't this technically OVA 4 as the first OVA was the one where Neptune and Vert go to Ultradimension and meet Ultradimension Noire, Blanc and Vert as well as being reunited with Plutia and Peashy?

The baby CPUs were really cute. It was nice to see Nep and Arfoire forms a mother/daughter bond. I'm excited to see season 2 of the anime when it comes out.
There is a in lore reason for that if you played the first game or Neptunia Reverse Histoire reveals Arfoire actually was the one who raised and created Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert actually making her their mother
After, knowing how Trick uses "Level Down" Really pisses me off, Most likely intended cause we are you know Proper people The idea here, is basically Trick is Trick so "Level Down" works the way HE wants it too. Or, could mean Level = Age in the Neptunia universe at least for the people who actually can fight Note: Little Neptune was at level 12 before transforming which put her at Level 22 or 99 (First time I watched the OVA on my own it looked like 99 but could actually be 22 which could mean Neptune is supposed to be 22yrs old ?) For Uzume appearing, Season 2 or a full length Movie ? It does feel weird hearing Arfoire's Japanese name the whole time in the OVA Come to think of it........ Was Chrome literally labeled as Arfoire's Japanese name when Neptunia RPG/Brave Neptune was first announced?
And I'm still waiting for subtitles. Of course, it’s interesting to watch the visual, but I would like to know what they are talking about at all, since I didn’t learn Japanese.

The idea here is that "Level Down" weakens them but because Trick is Trick they also turned into literal children
