why do i need to add a table to do a simple thing like aligning text - terrible suggestion

It creates a lot of problems, I'm creating "table of content" for which i have to add content on the left and page no on the right, i copied content from a word file and when im writing page no on right, it is not aligning properly....Also it creates a lot of empty space in the last of the table which can't be removed, it creates problem while moving the table...

Word online does not allow you to change the properties. To remove the boarders as in this video, I was able to change the border color to white!

Dear Mr.Quick please provide any solution or suggestion on an issue am faced with in my word 2016 the text i'll sample stand like this.

This text is only portion of the complete text that i must add went in the middle of the page on it own ( because every other part that need to be aligned to the left of the page is normally aligned but this one is not and i need it to be on the left so that X,Y and Z can nicely have their bulletins and descriptions?
