@InterWorks, how can I swap the two x axes. I mean, how can I bring the "Market" down and bring "Budget Sales" up? Thanks in advance for your quick reply.
How do you combine both axes? and is the process any different for blended charts? I tried this but I'm getting incorrect charts when I try to combine for both x and y axis
You need to bring Budget Sales on the opposite side of the Sales Axis. This will create a so-called dual axis chart. Then you can control type of chart separately on the marks card. Here is even cooler example what you can do with dual axis chart: www.interworks.com/nl/blog/jwright/2012/06/18/multi-measure-dual-axis-charts
Thanks. How do I combine these with multiple line charts, please ? For example if I include profit and budget profit as 2 line charts over those sales bars? Much appreciated if you could demonstrate. Sample design: side-by-side bars with multiple lines images.app.goo.gl/QQ8AtB9oTJxJVtgD8 It’s very simple in excel, hardly could find a video for tableau
Hi Mansi - 1) click the "Label" icon on the Marks card 2) check the "Show mark labels" box There are some formatting options in there as well, and you can drag additional fields onto the Label icon if you want your label to include something besides the measures you used in the view. Still curious? Check out: www.interworks.com/blog/ekreitler/2016/08/08/questions-tableau-training-can-i-move-mark-labels
