More or less, yes. LazuLight is their unit name. For example, Niji JP's first wave (Nijisanji's term for a generation) had eight members, but the unit name JK-gumi refers to just three of those: Mito, Kaede, and Rin. In all overseas branches, though, units have a 1:1 correlation to waves, so unit names may as well be thought of as wave/gen names.
