Thank you for this! It was very clear for me. I gave this a try on a pair of jeans that had started a tear. It worked perfectly and it’s not visible on the outside.
@@elhrfy Well, you DIDN'T do it wrong! Such a repair was once called some 40 years ago: darning. But it's not done the way you did. You sewed the hole wrong because you pulled it off, that is, you reduced the size of the repaired part of the fabric! It is no practice to pull the material off the hole and the hole will seemingly disappear. DOESN'T FADE! Not only that, such pants are NARROWER in this place, so they will be too tightly stretched in this place after repair, and this will lead to damage or further abrasion of the material. You should TRY it, but I can see you can't. Darning generally is the restoration of the weave of the fabric at the point of the hole so that the hole disappears, but the fabric at that point is just as wide and long as it was before the repair. You still have a lot to learn!
It was kinda calming watching this video! Thank you! I am amazed at how well the stitching was. This will help me with some pants I have that have holes!
Thank you for this masterful repair. I have just such a difficult job to do on my son's jeans and now feel a bit more confident about tackling the job. I wonder where to get the iron on mesh for patching inside. Thank you for this great demonstration.
Vaseline is an adhesive or filler used to line men's suits. The names differ in different countries. It is made of cotton and looks like fabric. It is better to buy and use a thin material, and when gluing it should be well heated. You can buy it at stores that sell haberdashery, twine, and buttons. It is always present in these places. Best wishes for success and success :) 🌹🌹💖

Buena traducción, excelente imagen y buen acercamiento. Muy claro!! Muchas gracias!!!
Wonderful! I have a favourite pair of jeans with small holes by the back pockets. I'm not too shabby at sewing, this video has given me loads of good tips so i can fix them myself . Thank you 👌🇬🇧
Amazing! And as an answer to your 3 questions , for me the answers are yes ,yes ,and yes! Thank you for showing this skill , I have done similar sewing to cover holes but not right into the sram like that! It was fabulous and I can see how practice can only help make it turn out better and better.
Thanks for sharing, this is so useful! As for your questions, here it is: que quality of the video is great and shows very well the details, the translation is great too and doesn't get in the way. As for the length of the video, it only depends on what you are teaching (some vids need to be longer to show the process better) and how you prefer to teach it. Btw, you have a lot of patience to sew and to teach it, thanks so much for sharing, hugs from Brazil ^^
Beautifully done! Your hands are golden. Myself I fix all my clothes manually. I don't know how to use a sewing machine, though I have one. Your work is indeed very neat, much better than a sewing machine. And it's very good that you fixed the sticker as well, apart from ironing it, manually. It happened to me by only ironing it, and it came off. Once I sewed it, it never came off. 😊
What type of cloth/sticker is it? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen something like it before but I would like to try and find it to try and repair my old jeans😊

Wow this is very impressive!!! I have to mend my 3 jeans because I'm fed of buying new jeans as soon as there are holes in this part, whereas the rest is like new. Thank you very very much for this!
I can't even tell you how many pairs of jeans I've thrown out because of holes like this. Wish I'd seen your amazing video years ago. Looks like I'm going to be getting some No. 7 needles! I'm impressed with the way you manage to make the holes disappear. From the front, you'd never know they were there. Incredible!
May I say, the view of the work is not blurred over, even at 3:33 it shows well, and translation has to be said to be good. The quality of image is high grade, with obvious excellence of craftsmanship, purpose, and with a sense of kindness, too, your videos add to anyone interested in knowing. I prefer shorter youtube videos usually but longer video in your case I think can be good too because I see you don't waste time. Time spent learning something of value and of interest from a rare and excellent source is time well spent, short or long. Whatever it takes, but if had to choose would say short. I have always liked sewing by hand as needed over the years but was never taught or even sought to know better until I saw your tutorials and now I have a renewed drive and interest for the hand-sown restoration of garments done properly or at least much better than I would have done before. So this long comment is to say thank you for that and best to you!!

What incredible work you do in all your videos! I had no idea that clothes with holes like these could be fixed so perfectly, almost invisibly! I have a few questions: - How do you get the fabric to realign so perfectly without creating ripples in the corner when there is fabric missing from the inside of the hole (cigarette burn, larger tear)? It's like magic! - This particular area of the jeans rubs against sensitive skin, is the patch on the inside smooth and comfortable with friction? - Why is a number 7 needle prefered? Here are my answers to your questions, and my suggestions. -The english translation is ok/medium, not perfect but I get the idea most of the time, if ever there is a problem it's only usually with a single word. -The video quality is good -The captions do not cover the work -Time does not matter, it's about how long the job takes, seeing from beginning to end. The videos are well edited for brevity, but clear. I do however find it difficult to read the captions while at the same time closely observing the work. I either have to re-watch or slow the video speed down. I find the speed of your work a bit fast to follow, of course you are a master and can do it very quickly, and I could always slow down the video, but maybe slowing down your work at least during the initial stiches/ending, for the purposes of recording it would be useful. I would also really like while you are showing the initial stitches for the camera to be on zoom (or just to bring the work close to the camera), so I can see the sitches up close. I have watched a few of your videos now but I don't think I fully understand this seamstress stitch, maybe you could do an entire video just showing extremely slowly and up close what it is you are doing. You could link that video to future videos in the description, so that the work can be shown at the appropriate pace, but an option for a more detailed description for total beginners like me. I really want to thank you for wanting to help others, your kind and humble spirit show through your videos. I appreciate both the skill you share and the spirit you carry. A sincere thanks!
Thank you very much for your wonderful comment/First of all, I thank you for all the time you took to write this comment/For your questions I use regular polyester threads and in some heavy fabrics like harsh jeans I use the same polyester thread but 6 degrees stronger and for needles there are 3 types of needles I use them No. 7, 11 and 12 Use No. 7 for heavy fabrics such as tough jeans and the like. Needle No. 11 and 12 are used for lighter fabrics and the like, and relatively to the absence of ripples at the end and beginning of each hole. This comes from practice and continuing with training. I hope I have answered your questions well. You can ask me at any time about Any information and I will answer you. I wish you all the best and success :) 🌹🌹💖

Beautiful work, i've got some jeans need reoair badly and these wonderful videos have helped a lot ❤❤ I did need to zoom in a bit as my vision isn't what it used to be😅 thanks so much for posting these❤❤❤
I’ve been watching a fair bit of ‘sewing tips + tricks’ lately so I have seen various ‘styles’ of videos/instruction. First off, I have never seen this sewing repair technique before + I think it’s brilliant! Your exceptional knowledge/skill in sewing repair is very obvious. I found that as soon as I started studying your video, I turned the sound/music way down. Your music selection was appropriate + I just found myself tuning it out eventually which is really what you/I want. I didn’t find that the captions impeded the video at all, but I have seen many other videos where they do impede. I like that your video had no ‘audio instruction’. This is my preference now while watching instructional video + I do watch quite a few - they are my favourites. With sewing, I find I really have to ‘visually focus’ on what is being taught/sewn. I found that your tightly cropped close up of your hands doing the ‘work’ was very well done + well lit. The ‘lighting’ is so so important + will make or break the quality of a video. I would definitely watch more of your videos, based on this one. Excellent work! I really appreciate this bit of sewing education… now where are my husband’s torn jeans. 😉❤️😌
I agree with everything except that I need narration..as I am an auditory learner.. but. I advise you keep up your current style, as most people ARE not like me. Most people are strong visual learners. So just continue to do what most people work best with. I can always find another channel that does audibly narrate. The video is relaxing because I can listen to the soothing guitar music ..and Just " tune out" the visual... I am really only half way paying attention to anything visual anyway. For my brain.., anything strictly visual causes me to sort of just zone out.. While it is Very relaxing. I have a hard time actually figuring out much of the details of WHAT was actually going on in the sewing itself. As a strong auditory learner, I can look right at something being done..but until someone verbally explains exactly WHAT and WHY they're doing..for me .it all just seems mysterious. I really doI not understand or comprehend strictly visual instructions. I do MUCH better with one on one instructions..best when done..in person..allowng me to be guided in person..hands on..I also do best with CONSTANT verbal feedback and constant, ongoing verbal instructions. I need real time corrections given.. I NEED step by step..stitch by stich explaining . I need this level of auditory input as to exactly where and why and how to put the needle in..where,, why.. How to do each stitch. What angle? Where on the cloth? Where in the fabric to place each individual stitch and WHY? I can not pick up much from just the visuals.. When watching without a thorough auditory explanation of each stitch..the sewingt just seems to magically " happen" & the entire process seems quite like a mysterious magic trick to me. I am left like a child, watching a magician's slight of hand..seeinng but not believing..and desperately wanting to ask.. " But wait..how?? How did you DO that one part..exactly? And that other? And why..? Why do this one way or approach it in that way and not another?" For me..without one-on-one instructions with constant verbal feedback from an instructor.. I can SEE something and NOT understand WHAT I am seeing..until I am TOLD and explained thoroughly as to exactly WHAT it is that I am seeing. For me seeing is not beiving..but hearing is. To just watch without verbal explanation..for an auditory learner..it is just like watching a fantasy movie..and the process itself appears to be some magical slight of hand..and all hopelessly beyond my comprehension. But that is just me. After watching this I am SURE that I could not ever DO this.. Not without one on one, hands- on obstructions with constant verbal feedback. I need to be TOLD how and where and when and why..TOLD.. not just shown. Sigh. It must be nice to be a visual learner.

I have now watched about 30 sewing videos by different channels---this is by far my favorite.
Thank you for this! It was very clear for me. I gave this a try on a pair of jeans that had started a tear. It worked perfectly and it’s not visible on the outside.
That was fast. I wonder if they’re comfortable. Did you find they’re now tighter?

I have a few questions:
- How do you get the fabric to realign so perfectly without creating ripples in the corner when there is fabric missing from the inside of the hole (cigarette burn, larger tear)? It's like magic!
- This particular area of the jeans rubs against sensitive skin, is the patch on the inside smooth and comfortable with friction?
- Why is a number 7 needle prefered?
Here are my answers to your questions, and my suggestions.
-The english translation is ok/medium, not perfect but I get the idea most of the time, if ever there is a problem it's only usually with a single word.
-The video quality is good
-The captions do not cover the work
-Time does not matter, it's about how long the job takes, seeing from beginning to end.

You said everything that I also thought 😊 !!
I agree with everything except that I need narration..as I am an auditory learner..
but. I advise you keep up your current style, as most people ARE not like me. Most people are strong visual learners. So just continue to do what most people work best with.
I can always find another channel that does audibly narrate.
The video is relaxing because I can listen to the soothing guitar music ..and
Just " tune out" the visual...
When watching without a thorough auditory explanation of each stitch..the sewingt just seems to magically
" happen" & the entire process seems quite like a mysterious magic trick to me. I am left like a child, watching a magician's slight of hand..seeinng but not believing..and desperately wanting to ask..
" But wait..how?? How did you DO that one part..exactly? And that other? And why..? Why do this one way or approach it in that way and not another?"
For me..without one-on-one instructions with constant verbal feedback from an instructor..
After watching this I am SURE that
I could not ever DO this..
Not without one on one, hands- on obstructions with constant verbal feedback.
I need to be TOLD how and where and when and why..TOLD.. not just shown.
Sigh.
It must be nice to be a visual learner.

Very interesting! As for your questions:
- the translation is fine
- the video quality is fine
- the video duration is just fine
I would be thankful if you introduced various types of stitching and their context of application. One or two types in a video each time. Your technique is amazing. Keep up the good work.

Thank you...everything - translation, video, length of video and of course, your skill is really helpful and clear.
Thank you very much for this wonderful comment 🌹 🌹💖
