Gaia is basically a glass cannon. She deals some insane dos against trained but has a very wide blind spot, low health and few kbs to compensate for her monstrous attack stat. If you want to use her, your entire strat may have to revolve around her, but with proper protection she can crush stages. Overall, one of if not the best legend rare in the game, a very good draw.

It's not just knockback. Really, any crowd control ability that can keep the enemies out of Gaia's blind spot is imperative. Gaia will tear anything she can attack to shreds, but the trade-off is that her attack is very narrow. I pulled her early in my playthrough, and she carried me from ITF 3 all the way to mid/late UL where curse became more prominent. Also, she isn't curse immune, so she's pretty bad in stages where curse can reliably reach her. Regardless, I still think she is the best general use legend rare unit the game has to offer, very good pull.
Try to avoid Gaia against black enemies, the multihit will most likely miss due to their high KB count so she'll be losing 2/3 of her dmg output most cases.
Absolutely love gaia, easily my 2nd favourite cat in the game. The one you really wanna look out for though is lumina/luminalia (the legend rare from the elemental pixies that are good against aliens.). She absolutely demolishes any alien she comes across to the point that I basically soloed all of the cats of the cosmos stages with her.
Yeah, as an specialist she's completely broken, for some reason her banner has 0 bad uber everyone gets good or atleast average on their tf...you might think voli is bad, but with him and surfer I can permafrezze every alien. ez game.

I find this hilarious because I got Gaia and Izanami right off the bat without spending a cent. My friend who is very far into the game doesn't have a single legend rare and I was surprised by his reaction when I told him.

Next epic event, you might want to track dark kasli and darktanyan, because they're quintessentially epic. Legend and Platinum tickets also become high-value for seed trackers because every Uber is essentially at your fingertips.
To those asking how to seed, I just followed the TH-cam tutorial of Milennin. But to make it simple, you only need to save enough catfood to draw 11 times. That could either 1500 cf for a regular 11 cat draw or 750 cf with the half cost promo. Once you have enough cf, draw the 11 cat draw and record every single cat up to the guaranteed Uber. You will know you are successful if you draw a regular 30/150 single draw and get the predicted cat. Once successful, save the link on your bookmarks, and make sure not to erase the link or your access to the seed will be gone forcing to draw another 11 cf to get back your seed.
The fact that someone actually figured this out is utterly insane though tbh. I mean making a website to do it automatically for you is just an extra step of ridiculous. Some people really are just something else.
Matt you can use seed tracking to manipulate the result of platinum tickets also so when you get a platinum ticket you should try get a fest exclusive Uber such as Mitama or Dark’tanyan

Gaia was somehow one of my first units, probably earned her when I only had 2 other ubers (Gravi and Drednot(also I lost that account a very long time ago ;( )) I never was able to utilise her insane damage ability since I mainly used her in EoC, where traitless enemies would be lots of places, but even then she was astonishing. Also I dont mind seed tracking, but its been very harsh without it since my luck is practically garbage on my current save file. So yeah, great video Matt!
also Gaia does lack curse immune and z kill, requires really good protection since she only has 2kb and also terrible standing range, and her ld is pretty small too. She still comes in handy at your part of the game, but I would much rather stick to amaterasu if you want something with better survivability. tl;dr, incredibly nice generalist, but does lack immunity and survivability, so protect well.

folr those wondering theres tutorials on the internet. you dont NEED 11 draws and can do with 6-7 single draws if you have enough rare tickets. just draw another after generating seed to confirm its the right one. some banners put you in a different lane, while some let you skip that lane change and let you keep going. you can also force a lane change if you roll on 100% uber chance if you dont like the path youre on / want a uber in a different lane. you can also check platiunum and legend tickets . seeds dont change ever, so you can wait a year and roll with the same results, the only thing that might chage are possible ubers and banner specific cats . so if you miss a banner you can ssave ur Cat food and roll when it apppears again. different banners will generate different ubers so its good to chekc future banners. bookmark your seed and have fun
Gaia is very strong debatable the best Legend. Only weakness is blindspot and curse so make sure you bring units to control the enemy and keep her safe. Insane Damage is more than massage damage so you gets tons of damage BUT there is no treasures for Aku and Relic so it’s less then the other traits. Bit late on this but thought I should mention it. This makes Chronos (if you have her) a great match, as it helps CC the units so that gaia's huge blindspot isnt infiltrated. Shitakiri is considered to be one of the worst ultra souls, unfortunately, but he still doesnt have a true form.
Honestly I always thought it was dumb to spend so much money on random draws. I am glad you are finally seed tracking. Seed tracking actually made me come back to battle cats as I am late game and had nothing left to do. Seed tracking gives me something to work for and look forward to

Hevijak actually a really good uber. He has a really good defense against red and aku with over 300k + hp against them. he also has 50% sheild peirce and knockback against red and aku. Against red he sucks and is outclassed by Roe and Catley but he is one of the best anti akubers being able to tank hits and rip Akus to shreds with the sheild peirce with the ability to outrange fallen bear. And in TF he safely out ranges I think nearly all akus and the guaranteed knockback is ok for pushing red but is really just a bonus as akus have sheilds.
He already knew about it ages ago, as far back as about 2 years ago I believe. He's only now fully utilizing it himself, where as back then it was his viewers tracking his seed and telling him how close he was to a legend rare, this was the case for Jeanne and Black Zeus. Still, a respectable decision if he actually wants to get new cats without spending absurd amounts of money.
Matt! Becouse of Gaia has extreme amount of DPS Ponos decided to balance it giving her weird range, making hard to use her if you can protect her, she is like Ranged Awakened bahamut DPS Also USE Nono CC against Black enemies!!! You should have her She is like Ramen of Black enemies!!
If you want to win make sure you have all your cats at level 10 And this is going to sound really weird but use Bean Cats Not even joking their Knockback is great here You can gain ground on the one horn And sometimes interrupt Nyandam’s attack with it Unless you have Pirate cat who is better in every way

I don't know if you'll see this, but long distance units only attack the base from the closest part of their AoE. So if it has a range from 100-500, but a regular standing range of 300, they'll attack the base from a range of 100
While i don't really like seed tracking, it kind of becomes more worth it than to hope for luck for people that have too many ubers. My biggest problem with tracking is that it takes away suprise suprise
You must be a new player or a noob. The only thing you get if you don’t seed track is screwed. All I’m gonna say is that if you want to waste cat food and tickets on bs gacha luck go right ahead but the wise and more beneficial thing is to seed track as soon as possible.
I don't have any legend rare but gothic Mitama, Mitama the oracle, Amaterasu, Dasli and Kasli, D'arkt, Iz the alluring dancer and Iz the lady of mourning... These also get the job done so uber carry for the win
Gaia in my opinion is the best legend rare. Once you have her, you dont need any other legend rare. And its not just because shes is my first and only legend rare, but also because she dominates alongside my support like Mitama

I have Gaia on my main Battle Cats account and you have to know a few things: It's a Amaterasu,but with insane damage(x5-x6 dmg),but it has a blind spot,so be careful. Another thing is that it goes almost too perfect with Chronos,having the almost same ranges(and Chronos freezes and Gaia deals insane damage,that is a deadly combo).
Im not a high skill player and definitely no where near you but ive heard gaia is very good when protecting especially when one of her weaknesses is HP so just protect her as best you can (im sure people have already told you that)
I think Gaia is up there for best Legend rare if there had to be something that competes with it I think it's Nanaho the Legend Rare from the Monster Girl banner
Hey Matt, you should invest into Dancer Cat's talents. Dancer not only is pretty good, but he gets wave immunity. Dancer can help or even carrie in places like Floor 30 of both towers, Kory stages, and even more miscellaneous places like against Manic Jam/Crazed Titan.

I just use the 9th angel cat to kill all the aliens, works wonderfully especially with the surge

While i don't really like seed tracking, it kind of becomes more worth it than to hope for luck for people that have too many ubers. My biggest problem with tracking is that it takes away suprise suprise
You must be a new player or a noob. The only thing you get if you don’t seed track is screwed. All I’m gonna say is that if you want to waste cat food and tickets on bs gacha luck go right ahead but the wise and more beneficial thing is to seed track as soon as possible.

Gaia in my opinion is the best legend rare. Once you have her, you dont need any other legend rare. And its not just because shes is my first and only legend rare, but also because she dominates alongside my support like Mitama

I have Gaia on my main Battle Cats account and you have to know a few things:
It's a Amaterasu,but with insane damage(x5-x6 dmg),but it has a blind spot,so be careful.
Another thing is that it goes almost too perfect with Chronos,having the almost same ranges(and Chronos freezes and Gaia deals insane damage,that is a deadly combo).
I thought the insane damage is 5x to 6x?

Im not a high skill player and definitely no where near you but ive heard gaia is very good when protecting especially when one of her weaknesses is HP so just protect her as best you can (im sure people have already told you that)

My first time playing the battle cats and at the moon at the start of all of battle I did not have to do that I got Gaia the creator for free
Since Gaia was my first Legend (and my only) she’s my favorite.
Gaia is technically the best legend rare and trust me i got her and she does insane damage to traited enemies and pairs extremely well with chronos
Hey Matt, you should invest into Dancer Cat's talents. Dancer not only is pretty good, but he gets wave immunity. Dancer can help or even carrie in places like Floor 30 of both towers, Kory stages, and even more miscellaneous places like against Manic Jam/Crazed Titan.
I recently got my first legend rare which was Musashi. I know he’s not the best but it’s so cool knowing you own something so rare. Then I remembered you have like 5 or 6 now. 🥲

Gaia has NO hp and a GIANT blind spot but if used right can be the best unit in the game
bro shes got 110k hp and her blindspot is easily covered if youre okay at the game
