Exactly. This ain’t no school bully nonsense. This is the same PTSD that soldiers come back from the war with. The pressure to retaliate and not get caught is whole different ball game.
Naw there are people that have a bunch of bodies but successfully recovered and transitioned through lifestyle change, relationship with God, and deep psychological/spiritual reflection. It takes effort but it can be healed by God. The evidence is in the lives of Saints who’s heart and mind were healed by Christ.
There are many Saints in the Orthodox Church that used to be killers and became holy monks. Look up the life of St. Moses the Black/Ethiopian. A killer who became a holy monk in the desert.

Mecca needs to humble himself & listen to people better. He kept speaking as if he actually relates to what homie was saying & he was missing his point. You have to fully listen to someone’s issues to actually help. Simplifying the pressure, experiences, energy, emotions, & everything from people’s loved ones as “survivor’s guilt” exposing he doesn’t relate. Someone’s family asking what are you going to do because they want revenge for someone you personally cared about that deeply is much deeper than the guilt of surviving. A person would feel indebted to that person & their family. They want to transfer that pain to whoever they feel responsible for causing it. They want some type of relief for what everyone around them feels. It goes way deeper than feeling guilty that you survived. Cmon bruh

Being a follower of the Lord now and at complete peace. I was in the streets back in the day, and I understand where dude is coming from. Many close friends never made it to 30 years old. Mecca doesn't understand, he's never been where dude has been, or seen what he has seen. It's not that easy, and no one wants to carry that weight or depression on them. Spirits will torment you. TRUE peace comes from the Prince of Peace, the Lord. I wish someone would minister that to him. To seek God. You can't take counsel or advice from everyone, even though they may mean well.

Trauma is a pain that can almost never be healed but as someone that relate to what Albee feeling and experiencing I can 100% say there is light at the end of the end of tunnel all the pressure will never be gone for you bro it’s just another weight we carry until we gone. When you get traumatized your entire life you're gonna act differently and see things differently. It's easy to say that's something you shouldn't do anymore but clearly he doesn't know another way to do things. Just because you're a grown man doesn't mean you know everything. People gotta be willing to ask for help and not care how they _think_ it makes them look.
He is not bragging about the things he did, but what he is trying to say is, all the dirt he have done in his life is coming back to Haunt him . And it's putting him into a deep depression. If you haven't lived that life you wouldn't understand.
@@ernestbrown7102 Many people don't understand how depressing street life is. All the dudes I knew who were deep into it always wanted out even when the money was flowing. I had a friend who was making 5K a day on the streets and pressing me to get him a job where I worked because his life was constant stress. I got him the job and he made manager in under two years and never went back to the block. This is a guy who did more dirt than I care to think about and he took that pay cut and left the whole game just for his peace of mind. Bro is living like Dr Huxtable now it's crazy but I'm happy for him.
In order to survive extreme circumstances, most people feel the need to embrace it or they believe they will fold. Deeper than feeling like he has to be tough, he understands the streets won’t give him a pass for what he’s done, so he feels he has to be tough because certain people won’t have mercy for him. People don’t want to let their guard down & get caught slipping because their past caught up to them. He thinks he doesn’t have a choice or someone will exploit his weaknesses. It’s wild if you think you can tell him he should chill out. You’re not in his shoes.
Mecca thinks it’s that’s easy to just change your mindset, when you grow up on a battlefield and that’s normal everyday life and when it’s years later and sitting with all the scars you can’t just say I’m ok and go on about your life
My brother died 13 years ago I didn't even go inside of my dads funeral 2years ago. Trauma be real.
