To clarify...This concert took place either 2017 or 18, his first concert. He did not speak any English at that time. Dimash is NOT a polyglot.. He speaks Kazakhs, Russian and he is still learning English and Cantonese. However, so far he sang in 12-15 languages, which is not easy with vowel and consonants placements etc. In terms of dancing, Dimash himself admitted that dancing poses big challange for him, however he does not let that to stop him. He does not just rely on his voice but always pushes himself further. That is a mark of a true artist in my opinion. Can you imagine even trying to sing in Korean or Chinese or Turkish etc? I would probably be so lost hahahhahahh
This is seven years later, and his English is much, much better. English has so many pitfalls in pronunciation that I'm impressed when a foreigner can make himself understood. Yes, they combined film footage of an earlier MJ duet.
Hello Dimash wanted to make a tribute being Dimash not imitating Michael Jackson. Besides, he did this concert months after leaving The Singer China 2017, his English was not perfect but he made an effort and gave a high-level show. Obviously over the years he has been perfecting his English, dance, stage expression and his voice. Greetings from Chile

His dancing does need work. Lol. Even in SMOKE performance vid it feels like he needs to be more grounded. Just a minor point. And easy to improve. And since DIMASH likes to perfect perfection he will just get better and better. Just being knit-picky. Don't come after me, DEARS!!😂
To be fair, English is not exactly the easiest Lange language to learn with all its weird rules in how you pronounce certain words. So give Dimash a break. Besides, this was 2017, at his first solo concert. He admired MJ so much. The simple fact that he actually did the MJ moonwalk was SUPERB ❤

Compared to Dimash´s professionalism and perfectionism with regard to singing and music, his English pronunciation is remarkably bad. Even his most recent songs contain at least one mispronounced word, if not more. I wonder why he doesn't hire a diction coach before receding a song. Of course, his extraordinary voice and talent makes up for such problems, but to me it is still odd that he is so negligent about pronunciation while he is so perfectionist about everything else in his performances.
Ma langue est le français....Essayez de chanter ou parler en Français, si vous pouvez (sans traduction) !! Vous n'arriverez pas à chanter ou parler dans une autre langue que l'anglais !! Dimash apprend les langues par le ''son'' (phonétiquement) et il a 1 professeur . Et Dimash travaille fort pour apprendre les langues (18 au total environ). Nommez-moi 1 chanteur ou chanteuse qui en fait autant !!

Have you heard his duet with Placido Doming? As you heard, he began by saying something like "Au fou de tempestad" instead of "Au fond du temple saint". This may be excused due to the short preparation time, but recording mispronounced songs cannot be excused. As I said, there are diction coaches to help you with songs in foreign languages. You just need to consult one. And for some strange reason Dimash doesn't.
