ofc theres's an incredibly long plot... did you seriously think you could watch one of my videos without it? HAH. nope.
PLOT:
elena and archie have been neighbors since they were four, so they soon became best friends. in high school, archie started to have feelings towards elena, but he never got the courage to tell her and before he knew it she has a boyfriend: jason blossom, who also happened to be archie's best friend. (tough)
they were highschool sweethearts until jason died in a horrible accident (video starts here)
archie and elena both mourn in their own ways, and elena really wants him to come talk to her but archie prefers to be alone and tries to act as if nothing happened. meanwhile elena has flashbacks of jason every time she sees him (totally not weird).
finally archie comes to talk to her, and they try to get through it together, but this isn't too easy as all the feelings archie had bottled up come back to the surface when they start hanging out again. so he tries to avoid her, but she notices.
also archie is given the shirt jason used to wear in football, as he was his best friend, but this makes it even harder for elena not to think back about her lost love when she sees archie wearing it on the field.
during a party, they play seven minutes in heaven, and elena and archie end up in the closet. this is when elena opens up to him and tells him she's afraid of moving on because she feels that if she tries to be happy something else will go wrong, but lost in the moment, they kiss.
elena thinks about jason and breaks it off, running off saying "this isn't right" (you can't really hear it in the video soz)
then awkwardness between them... a conversation archie has with his dad...? archie is adopted apparently.
after a dance of sorts, archie shows up at elena's doorstep proclaiming his love for her but she turns him down, as she is still in love with jason.
days later, she's writing in her diary and she realizes she misses her best friend, so the next day she goes to his door to reconcile.

also im just gonna rant here bc no one is going to read it anyways lol. I'm so disappointed in riverdale. I thought it was going to be this cool mystery show but now its suddenly high school musical? with archie literally hooking up with anything that walks? (pls let judhead be next)
so yeah... not happy about this. BUT 13 REASONS WHY IS FREAKIN AMAZING AND IM HOOKED AND NO SPOILERS IM STILL MISSING LIKE ONE EP BUT EXPECT VIDEOS ON THAT SHORTLY.
