During the Muslim rule of Hindustan, Persian was the official and popular language of Hindustan [ Urdu is an offshoot of the Persian Language]. After the 1947 partition of Hindustan, West Pakistan should have adopted Persian as an official, national and educational language instead of the incomplete Urdu language. Things would have been entirely different today. The dialects of Sindhi, Punjabi, Pushto and Baluchi language are based on the Persian language. Thus the Persian language would have not only united the provinces but also forged unity with Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asian countries. Language is a stronger bond of unity than religion. Still, time, to adopt the Persian Official, National and educational language of Pakistan.
