Btw CSS redesigned their 2AZ block guard on my engine and they said our blocks will hold 800 hp all day long. Glad to see you move away from the Wiseco pistons, seen a lot of failures with them. Also definitely do the balance shaft delete. The gear on the crank will press off too saving more weight. You just need to plug the oil feed port in the block either by welding or tapping it and installing a set screw with sealant. Just gotta balance the rotating assembly which you would do anyways. Have crank/flywheel/pressure plate balanced by machine shop, and weigh each and every part on a scale and balance to within a gram after filing piston rings. Glad to see another video from you and super stoked for the next stage of your build! You know how to get ahold of me if you have any questions brother!
Thanks so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾 i appreciate it , i can’t wait to do this rebuild , thanks for the information about the balance shaft delete definitely going to go through with it. And that’s going to be sick being able to hold 800hp with the css wich is perfect because i really didn’t want to go the sleeve rout. Now it’s time to save and get that machine work done
What are you using for engine management, brother? Got an '03 I've done A LOT to, just missing the brains to take advantage of everything. Sick build and I'm glad someone else is keeping the platform alive.
thanks 🙏, for the brains i would recommend using the haltech elite 1500. that will be the best thing to use, because the tuner can really dial in everything that is needed to a Tee, and this will definitely help the car run a lot smoother and help it last long as well.
Hey brother! I'm in Australia and I'm building a 2009 (march build date) toyota camry sportivo acv40 2AZFE 2.4l. With the U250E transmission. So far I've done the following. 1. Custom fabricated full aluminium radiator. 2. B&M external transmission cooler. 3. Pod filter with Custom air intake. 4. Weapon R neo titanium intake manifold. 5. Kelford stage 2 intake & exhaust camshafts 6. 2 x oil catch cans. 7. Hardrace engine strut bar. 8. Custom headers into full custom exhaust with hi flow bullet catalytic converter. On the dyno it topped out at 150hp. I'm building with the BW efr 7163 turbo twin scroll. Carillo rods but not sure about the pistons. I was thinking cp but I don't want to run 2618 forged pistons with damage from slap and have to replace them in 100,000km. Plan on going for 400 whp. Can 4032 pistons handle the boost required to get there? 30-40psi? Also, my builder and fabricator and tuner said because it's a "wet block" when you bore & hone to run 89mm pistons the water jacket obviously gets thinner and is weakened and combined with that heat from boost, it will take no time to crack that block! In any case, I'm buying the darton sleeves!! Haltech head office in Australia here reccomend using the haltech elite 2500! Can you assist me with further knowledge into this build...as I said my parts list will be... Carillo rods Cp or je pistons (hopefully can find a 4032 forged set that can handle 40-40 psi) BW efr7163 (because it's internally gated and recirculation valve cause this engine is maf)
Hey! I wanted to build a turbo camry like yours for a daily, what do you recommend or any tips for building the 2zafe? Not a lot of info on these engines, I was aiming for 300-350 whp.

I am glad your back I’ve missed the Camry and how this thing is gonna be making more power 🔥🔥
Im glad your posting about the Camry again
