Watching y'all literally just play has been such a joy. Would absolutely watch more cricket video game content.
I have no idea what was happening like 90% of the time, but I am here for any Jack Doyle content regardless of what it is.
This is certainly a fun game. I like the bowling and batting in this game, but as you can see the fielding is pretty wonky. Supposedly for Cricket 23, they are completely revamping the fielding mechanics, as well as getting more licensing for teams and leagues across the world
Thanks for this info!! I was wondering how much of it was them not understanding the mechanics and how much was it just being a cheaply made game.

It's literally one of the best games in the world.
For the reviewed decision on LBW the ball has to pitch "inline" with the stumps to be considered. As it was pitched outside that's why it wasn't out, even with the tracking showing it would hit.

The no look throws were.... mightily impressive. And kinda terrifying, from a physics standpoint.

Did jack play before ?. He did a great job with the rules and gameplay . Hope jomboy plays more of this in the future . Try stick cricket as well

The ‘bouncer’ delivery should be pitched to land halfway down the pitch, the intention is to get the ball near the batters head. Yorker is the one you want to aim at the stumps.
The LBW challenge, the ball pitched outside the line of leg stump and hit the pad outside the line of leg stump, both mean it can’t be out.
In the game the green is the goal on the bowling metres and hitting

23 is supposedly revamping the fielding, and polishing the game in general too. Here’s to hoping!

the behind the back throws are dumb, but it looks like it could be fun.
It’s a shame about the throwing. Was fine for a long time but they kept patching the game and eventually ended up with fielders throwing backwards. Hopefully new game will be better.

Idk anything about the game but I bet there's a single player mode you and Jack or whoever can play like a league or tourney. Maybe one bowls one bats, or whatever. If you didn't want to keep going 1v1.
