They are very welcoming and I’m happy to spread their message of inner peace and calming of the mind - happiness
Thanks for watching
Can I go out or remain as a monk after the training? and go to your country and live a temple of your own?
You did a great
🙏🙏🙏
U are kind 🥰🥰😊😊
Thank you 🙏
So are you going to be a good boy now ? And stay away from all the naughtiest in Pattaya?🤔🇹🇭❤️🕺🥳
The only thing that I wouldn't like, would be to leave that place.
🙏🙏
Hey, when your there. The thought that runs thru your mind is…I think I could stay here forever. :)
Hey Geofrey. Awsome video 🤙🏼
I think we’re about the same age and I’m ready to move to SE Asia. I gotta ask, do you enjoy living long term in Pattaya Vs other places? We all know the main draw that Pattaya has.. would you ever buy a place there tho? The dollar is crazy strong atm. Cheers 🍻
Thats a good question- we can talk about it in depth if it is something you are seriously considering
Did you make the move man? Would love an update!
Hello brother I would like to visit and try out the Buddhist temple, I live in Florida
Hi there,
I still have few questions in my mind
1. How to get registration to be a monk
2. How much they charged
3. Do they offer veg food
You should watch the video all are answered
Sorry brothere there's no rule charge be a monk in Buddhism everyone can be monk no matter where's religion y belong
Very nice vid.the temple grounds look amazing. Only one small thing should be said. You are not really becoming a Monk, you are doing Buddhist meditation retreat. Being a monk you have to take precepts / vows , shave…
Here you are a layman living as a monk. However the message of the life is the same…Amitoufo 🙏🏾
I want you to go to Wat Pa Nanachat in Ubon Ratchathani Province. and Wat Pa Phu Khong Thong Nong Bua Lamphu Province It is a forest temple where many foreigners come to be monks.
Ok ill look into it
Inspirational, I thought about it many times, thanks for making this vlog!
Yessir! You should try. Just start with a day or 2
At first I thought GP went to the island from the Bruce Lee movie The Man With The Deathclaw. But then I saw that there is peace and balance here
Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹
A video tranquil place.
Appreciate you making this video, it was a great insight into the daily like life in the monastery.
How do you spend your free time there?
Sleep - 8 hours of activities is quite Tiring
🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍
So you just show up , no schedule?
It's so peaceful and with much respect 👍
Good for you Geofrey! A full week of monastic life is not easy. Sitting meditation for long periods is a physical and mental challenge. I always thought the meditative walking is like a chigong exercise. It looks very beautiful there. Good stuff.
Thanks my man! Was def a worthwhile experience that will stay with me
Thank you for the inspiration on Thai Buddhist temple , these monks are special , if we don’t want to drown in samsara we should all ordain and enjoy the Buddha’s great discourse . Nice video thank you. You are very kind.
I agree- special group and magical place. I will definitely come back for regular visits. Happy to hear you enjoyed the movie. Please share so we can spread this positive message.
I am 65 . Am i too old to be a monk?
Probably the perfect time
@@geofreypetersonofficial i google wat pah nanachat. i feel disappointed,, u read here i copy and paste from their site.
Generally we have agreed upon an age limit of about fifty years for ordination. Other requirements for ordination are that one needs to be free from debts, free from government service, and free of major diseases such as epilepsy, HIV, cancer, etc.
Hi Geofrey......... do u have or know of any temple that accept 65 yrs old or no age limit?? can pls share. Thank u.
I just came from Wat pa tam wua yesterday
Nice! Hope the vid was helpful
