Watching this on a CRT monitor FW900 and having no regrets about NOT having an OLED. Brilliant colours, deep blacks, no motion blur.
just weighs 100kg and takes in 1 meter deep desk space and has a screen size of a nintendo switch.
@@justinsane3909 sure... I've got one of the rarest CRTs in perfect working condition with zero input lag, no sample and hold eye cancer blurriness and almost OLED quality blacks and contrast. But definitely sucks to be me.
crt is still best and it will be as crt technology is simply overall is better in general. actually you can buy 1080p crt. basically colors, black and speed is instant while led will never be instant.
@@arturasnesakysiu1684 OLED is very close to CRT in the categories where CRT is legit superior, but OLED massively superior in other ways too (far deeper blacks, thin/light, features like multiple inputs and better OSD and USB pass-through, higher colour accuracy, no noise, higher refresh rates). CRTs also die over time. And they are all old and ugly designs. Don't get me wrong, if you have a CRT it is a great display to keep around for some uses, no doubt, but I would never choose one as my primary or only display.

Looks great on my 1440p Benq 350nit, looks better on OLED BX... but I could live with either.
I had oled alienware aw3423dwf and ask a refund because image retention after few months of doing multitask on pc. Oled looks nice but is nothing to buy for longevity.

Calibrated my little 34 inch Acer Nitro 3 monitor using my handy idisplay Pro Plus colorimeter using DisplayCal, which is an upgrade from a Samsung 1080p monitor. Did a before and after comparison, the difference is night and day, after the automated process of calibrating finished (more than four hours), the result is incredibly good.
